Probably tens of thousands of dollars. Lots of Golden Age stuff out there without a cover, and if it's a key and otherwise complete, it would be worth a lot.

Coverless Action Comics 1 sold for more than $30k… in 2011.

Easily six figures today. Not sure if the highest sale price but almost certainly the most valuable coverless book.

There’s a coverless Batman #1 on EBay right now asking $32,500 OBO. Of course they can ask whatever they want, but that doesn’t seem totally outrageous to me.

Yeah I figured it was a major key. I have seen some single pages from batman 1 graded and sold for 1k. I used to think that coverless comics were dumb but lately I have seen the error of my ways.

I hope it sells for that since I have this guy in my collection lol

We have only one. Never really thought about getting it graded as doing so probably doesn't increase the value.

Actually, slabbing it would increase its FMV significantly, though likely not enough to warrant the cost of slabbing a GA book.

Earlier issues of coverless Timely & DC books are probably to sell via by each individually graded page.

Blissard does pretty well with selling single page slabs in eBay auction format, pull up his completed auction listings on eBay to see a good example of what I mean.

The listing title draws in the masses, and from there, the psychology of auction fwver seems to always kick in.

This auction approach also works with single page slabs of books like AF 15, JIM 83 et al….but I have only seen high prices on eBay for single slabbed pages.

Heritage, CC/Mwtropolis, CL etc bidders probably wouldn’t have a big enough percentage of green/dumb bidders to drive bids up.

I would avoid auctioning slabbed pages via MCS, as well. Unless it’s a prime auction but even then, eBay would probably yield higher prices.

I recently purchased two copies of G.I. Combat #114. One was really nice copy that I will probably have graded, and the other was coverless so I can read it without risking the other. Nothing wrong with reading copies.

Nothing wrong with coverless to a degree. SA, GA and older sure; maybe bronze too. Some splash pages are actually cooler than the cover anyway.

Pretty sure the highest recorded verifiable sale is a Tec 27 that sold in 2022 via Heritage for $78,000.00.

Tough call, but I would agree with @Davethebrave that right now Action #1 has a very slight edge if a sale occurred today. Tec 27 is currently the 2nd most valuable comic today according to Overstreet, Nostomania, and I'm sure several other sources.

I thought about doing a comic restoration on a few coverless before. Not sure if it would be worthwhile.

heck - if the single pages are going for over $1,000 in golden age keys, there's definitely value in coverless golden ages...

modern - not so much...

The Batman #88 still has .001% of the cover remaining. Think that counts as "partial"?

Superman #65

1st Appearance of The Other Survivors Of Krypton; Mala, Kizo & U-Ban

https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?ItemID=59150722

Exceptional coverless/complete copy , it looks to be what would be around a FN+ 6.5 WHITE Pages book and would seem to me to be a significant GA DC key 🤔

I posted it earlier today on consignment at $65/BO on mycomicshop, just dropped it to $55/BO on mycomicshop.

It’s mirrored on eBay now at around $66/BO.

Slab is for cover reference…..FWIW, the only other coverless copy on eBay is around $150, no best offer, with a color xerox tepro cover. 🤔
