I don’t care if they change their logo to a shaved dog’s butt…still a shit company in my opinion. Maybe they should’ve changed their logo to one of those invisible slabs??!!🤔🤔🤔

Is CBCS missing a golden opportunity here to capture market share? Or is this newton ring thing *not* as huge a deal as it seems to me?

[Edit: added "not".]

Market share is going to be driven by multiple factors, but I doubt Newton rings are going to be decisive. Particularly if dealers don't see a price penalty for them.

Newton rings are a hassle. You can't really fix them yourself anymore since the case is sealed on all four sides. If it's just your garden variety book, meaning there is more than one option, I would skip on the Newton rings and wait for a better slab.

Well, it appears that slabbing companies are using different types of plastic or poly or whatever, and one combination generates more newton rings than the other. So if the company has a back-stock of newton ring-generating product, it's going to take a while to exhaust that stock and have it replaced with stock that isn't so newton ring friendly.

How many folks have newtons in their CBCS slabs?

@codychunn I don’t think I’ve even seen NR on a CBCS (any gen) or PGX slab

That is currently a marketable position with leverage.
