CGC has nothing scheduled on their events page, despite for sure CGC having booths at Heroes this month and at Baltimore around October/November. Anyone know which other conventions CGC will be set up at to accept comic book submissions? Not on-site grading, that seems to be a thing of the past….just regular submissions. I’d rather drive a few hours to sub books in person than risk hi-jinks with shipping subs into CGC. I will be missing out at Heroes Con, will definitely go to Baltimore but there should be at least one other show within a few hundred miles of me, before Baltimore. Thanks! |

Also, ctrl+f is your friend. Both of the events are listed on CGC's event page. Heroes Con in June and Baltimore Con in September. https://www.cgccomics.com/submit/events/ |

@flanders he was asking besides those 2 I think. They don't have any other cons listed although I know they're going to others.

@Sebastsk8 got it, thanks for pointing that out. I'm still seeing other cons on the page, but it does appear limited.

CGC doesn’t appear to be doing onsite grading at cons this year, AFAIK. Offering onsite grading at Baltimore would imho, result in more subs to CBCS at Baltimore. |

But we all know, rushing to have it done in a short period of time especially with a handful of employees...mistakes will likely happen. like not notice flaws. so a 9.2 could come back as a 9.4 or higher. |

I can get any Dallas Fan Expo and HeroesCon witnessed together (CGC). I am using Dork Buzz out of Houston TX. For CBCS I can do one show or the other (or VSP later is an option and cheaper at the events - see below details on that). I am a CBCS dealer as well. PLEASE NOTE: Bill Sienwickski did cancel HeroesCon and it is updated on my PDF submission form (but I can get him at SDCC if you need him). Just message me or go to my website for more details www.cosmicyeticomics.com (has a downloadable PDF submission form there that has lot of info on it). Also I can take sketch or remark commissions (but cannot guarantee the comic creator can do them) and same goes for the celebrity guests (signatures) but I can try as time permits / their availability. For these I will be in contact with you and confirm price / details and invoice by PayPal. ALSO if you want specific placement of a signature be sure to window bag your comic book and you can write any details on the blue tape around the window (COLOR of signature / style marker if available will be requested for you). There are some pretty interesting combos if you want to save some time and money otherwise grading then cracking later to add more names. (Check out the ad for more names or Dallas Fan Expo and HeroesCon websites)!: https://fanexpohq.com/fanexpodallas/comic-creators/ https://www.heroesonline.com/heroescon/featured-guests/ Silvestri Claremont Donny Cates Geoff Shaw Tradd Moore Artgerm Mico Suayan Roy Thomas Steranko Jonathan Hickman Skottie Young Romita Jr Tom DeFalco Many many more… CBCS Witnessed: For CBCS I can get witnessed at one show or the other (using their witness / fee to facilitate) but only can combine those at the same show (so has to be same column you see on my ad for witnesses or link to show above). VSP: …OR I CAN also just get RAW signatures (sometimes with a COA) and I will take a picture of the comic creator signing your item and email you that. In these cases almost always they charge VERY little if you are NOT witnessing for immediate send off for grading (so my ad is prices on witnessed - if RAW you will pay ONLY what the artist is charging + $5 per signature my fee to window bag / walk thru and handle for you) - you could have them sign and then have CBCS verify for you whenever you want later! Return shipping will also be invoiced later (for raw submissions). For this just write on the form: “RAW signatures - INVOICE AT EVENTS” The downloadable PDF form is designed to be one per book so print out, fill out and cut out for each book then place at the back of the comic book bag behind the backing board. Let me know any questions you have about it. ![]() |

I’m not looking for anyone to submit for me with all so respect I have a dealer account as well. These companies would be much better off doing a Friday and return on Sunday. Not dropping off. But hey that’s just me. This is another avenue to make money by cutting out all the middle men and time to ship too and from. Open it up it. I would go to a show and pay to got to a show just for this service

I was driving and did speak to text. I sound like a re#%#d. I apologize. All I’m saying is I want on-site grading period. Not a service from someone just drop my books off on a Friday and pick up on a Sunday. I would pay the comic con fee to get in just for the ability to have this service. And obviously extra for either grading company for that service.
