| https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?ItemID=58520743 Classic war cover with a  soldier dying as he looks at a photo of his girl back home….this book also has multiple racist interior panels with racial epithets/slurs (I can’t type the word here) used towards Korean soldiers.This book’s lead story is a pretty cool Korean War POW camp escape story…. https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?ItemID=58520743 Similar books using that racist slur on the cover sell for a few hundred in raw low to mid grade, the slur isn’t on the cover but this cover isn’t anything to shake a stick at, either! Last sale of a copy of this particular book with undisclosed restoration (top staple removed and put back in, look at the extra 2 staple holes and the bend in the middle of the top staple) , sold for $90 + $25 or so shipping (Canadian funds): https://www.ebay.com/itm/144991126905 Looks to be around an Apparent 4.0 book, the MCS is IMO a nicer copy and has no resto or conservation.  |

| Well, I am so far losing $7on this book, accounting for my cost and mycomicshop’s base $7 consignment fee. I snapped this copy and another 2.0 from mycomicshop within 3 minutes of them being posted on mycomicshop via email want list notifications on my cell. The other 2.0 was down graded to a 1.8 upon consignment, figured I’d auction off the slightly higher grade of the 2 copies. Paid the same price for that book. I really have to start making up promo threads well before the last day of an auction, this is how I got hosed the last time.  |
