4 signatures would be 20.00 + 45.00 = 65.00 plus grade fee, is that about right?

Correct

@Bronte - FYI, I sent in a Mag submission at the end of March. As referenced in my DM, it got accepted and correctly re-invoiced. I would only wait if you think that they may offer a grading special before 5/3. Otherwise, their may be a rush of VSP's ahead of you.

Has any one else tried the coupon? I had 4 VSP comics and when added the promo code only took $10 off...think it would get corrected later or is it not working correctly?

Should I get these books verified?
The signatures on all of them look legit, but they are not keys and grade wise I'm not sure of. The xmen is jim lee on cover.
The 2 infinity books are early mcfarlane signed on inside 1st page.

This is awesome! I have a number of books signed by Darwyn Cooke I would like to get verified because he used to live here in Halifax, NS, Canada, and he would do signings all the time at my LCS

Darwyn was awesome - really nice guy. One of the earlier conventions that I first went to in the Toronto area he would chat and you could get a sketch for free!!

So $30 USD is about $40 CAD - $10 off gets you to $20 USD for $27 CAD for the first signature
$15 USD for each additional = $20.30 each

So $27 CAD for 1st sig and $20.30 for each additional - all depending on the FX rate when payment is processed.

What CBCS needs to do is partner with MCS so I can use my MCS credits (that the wife doesn't know about) to pay for grading at CBCS for books I'll then sell at MCS!!!

@Bronte - I get the impression that a Jim Lee signature doesn’t command much of a premium at the moment (see link).

clickable text

I would probably get the McFarlane sigs verified. Make sure you take a good picture or get a scan of those first pages if you decide to send them in. I can’t believe how many graded signed books I have seen on eBay (some verified, some just say name written in marker on first page) that do not have a picture of the signature.

If you made a submission recently you need to open your payment options to see coupon space to type in. I would also write on submission papers just in case

yea I saw that but it was grayed out for me, that's why I said I was unable to click promo code upon checking out for some reason.

Yes, it is the Slab-only tier but we are unsure if the promo works with it

Got a stan lee signed book bought from his "stan lee collectibles" store. Although the signature and coa that came with it is genuine, i want it authenticated and protected for the future. This would be a great option to do.

This would be a big VSP savings with that coupon if anyone got it. 14 sigs with Stan Lee to get verified...

Sigs are "STAN LEE, PETER DAVID, DAN SLOTT, RACHELLE ROSENBERG, HUMBERTO RAMOS, VICTOR OLAZABA, EDGAR DELGADO, JOE CARAMANGA, WILL SLINEY, CHARLES SOULE, JOE MADUREIRA, GIUSEPPE CAMUNCOLI, DAVID BALDEON and RAMON PEREZ"

But i must admit, I'm so new to comics, I dont even know 10 of these guys...

It'd be a huge savings.
It'd still; however, be a huge hit to your personal savings with 14 VSP signatures.

I know there is that canned line "COAs mean nothing". Well - for me & many others outside the slab community, a Stan Lee Collectibles COA means "something".
It means a whole lot more than having nothing whatsoever; so I disagree with that canned line.
As for the remainder of the autographs, if someone out there is trying to forge "David Baldeon" or "Ramon Perez" signatures, well they need a new line of work.

Nice comic, but I personally would leave that as is and not get it slabbed.
If you ever decide to sell; retain the COA and I guarantee someone(s) would be interested.
I, for one, would be.
