I have this copy of new teen titans 2. I was concerned about it's condition due to seeing color on the front. So not know if it is a miswrap or spine roll.![]() ![]() |

Miswrap. Spineroll would have the staples out of alignment. |

Here's a severe case of spine roll. See how the staples have rolled out of their normal position? Yours didn't. The cover is just not straight. As others said... miswrap. ![]() |

A spine roll is often where the reader folds each page of the comic book back as they read it making it easier to hold in one hand. A mis-wrap is where is cover is incorrectly applied to a book at the printers, stapled, and then cut causing part of the back cover to appear on the front or vice versa. A mis-wrap is not to be confused with a mis-cut where the cover can be applied correctly, but then the entire book shifts as it is machine cut at the printers. |

Spine roll can also be caused by books being stacked in a pile over time.

Stacking curl is where a pile of books are stacked on top of each other and their spines are all on one side, not stacked where the spines are alternating from the book under it to prevent stacking curl. Spine roll is where the cover then the pages when read are folded back on themselves so the book can be read and held with just one hand. |

Spine rolls have a good chance of being press-corrected. (providing you use a well-known experienced presser). You cant really do anything with miswraps.
