I used to host a radio show where I would talk about new comic books that came out that week and match the title/theme of the books to songs that were similar. I would always open the show with just a random comic themed song. This one was in rotation. |

In the vocalists who still have the chops department...  Just for grins, here's a 2023 performance of a tune written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King; Herman's Hermits recorded this as their debut single in July '64. Reached #1 in the UK; #13 in the U.S., Peter Noone still tours and can even do a believable Johnny Cash impression on June Carter Cash's Ring of Fire! Definitely worth checking out more of the group's live performances... |
