Sounds cool but no. This is a local station whose content is all local issues/concerns/news.

The Carpenters.
Ya laugh - but seriously has there been a more beautiful and powerful voice than Karen possessed?
She would have been 72 a couple days ago.
Such a crying shame loss at early 30's

Will be listening to my Spotify "Metal" playlist soon as it's almost time to go for me walk with the dog. It's mostly old school Metal, with some newer stuff mixed in:

Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah (A Letter From Camp)
Song by Allan Sherman

Hello Muddah, hello Faddah
Here I am at Camp Grenada
Camp is very entertaining
And they say we'll have some fun if it stops raining
I went hiking with Joe Spivey
He developed poison ivy
You remember Leonard Skinner
He got Ptomaine poisoning last night after dinner
All the counsellors hate the waiters
And the lake has alligators
And the head coach wants no sissies
So he reads to us from something called Ulysses
Now I don't want this should scare ya
But my bunkmate has Malaria
You remember Jeffery Hardy
They're about to organize a searching party
Take me home, oh Muddah, Faddah
Take me home, I hate Grenada
Don't leave me out in the forest where
I might get eaten by a bear
Take me home, I promise I will
Not make noise, or mess the house with
Other boys, oh please don't make me stay
I've been here one whole day
Dearest Fadduh, darling Muddah
How's my precious little bruddah
Let me come home if you miss me
I would even let Aunt Bertha hug and kiss me
Wait a minute, it's stopped hailing
Guys are swimming, guys are sailing
Playing baseball, gee that's bettah
Muddah, Faddah kindly disregard this letter

Listening to "The Essential Porter Wagoner" right now.

I'm sure some would say that there is NOTHING essential about Porter Wagoner but I like his stuff. 🙂

I will admit that the only Porter Wagoner song I can think of off the top of my head (that isn't a duet with Dolly) is "Green, Green Grass of Home." But you don't normally have a career that spans six decades without talent.

@James42 100% right.

Very twangy old-school country with a strong bluegrass influence, he's not for everyone. He had some surprisingly dark songs (for the time they were made). Even without his duets with Dolly Parton, though, there's alot of good music there for the right listener.
