Batman: Castle of the Bat [nn]. This issue is a one-shot Elseworlds story.

VF/NM, or better. The bottom spine corner shows very mild drop damage that does not appear to break the ink. The both covers show a very mild ‘bend’ of the spine binding. They aren’t creased, so there’s no ink breakage…possibly due to the glued nature of the spine rather than being read. The back cover shows some mild vertical cosmetic scratches in the gloss.

Batman: Catwoman Defiant [nn]. This is a one-shot issue, with the Catwoman logo stamped in gold prismatic foil. The front cover of the book shares an image with Batman: Penguin Triumphant.

This comic was published about the same time the Batman Returns movie debuted. Unfortunately, this comic was signed ‘Catwoman’ by someone at my LCS dressed as the character at the time of release. There’s also a polaroid photo of the individual…it came with the comic and shipped to me overseas.

VF, or better. The book is slightly ‘rolled’ at the spine bindings, which lightly break the ink on both covers. The back cover shows a UPC code, but it’s a sticker that was later added. There are some mild scuffs and scratches to the gloss on both covers. The 'signature' kinda ruins the book a little.

Batman: Dark Allegiances [nn]. This issue is a one-shot Elseworlds story by Howard Chaykin. The story takes place during World War II.

VF-, or better. You can plainly see some spine and edge wear. The bottom spine corner shows very mild drop damage that lightly breaks the ink on the back cover. The book is slightly ‘bent’ at the spine bindings, which show a little bit of creasing and ink breakage in spots.

Batman: Death of Innocents #1 (direct). This issue is a one-shot and it was originally written to educate the American Public to the lunacy of landmines.

VF, or better. The back cover shows light edge wear near the top left page corner. The first few pages of the comic show what looks to be very light moisture rippling/wrinkling near the bottom edges, but this isn’t visible on the front cover. There isn’t any sign of moisture damage, so this rippling/wrinkling could be a production defect.

Batman/Demon [nn]. This issue is a one-shot with a wrap-around cover image. It also features an appearance by Robin.

VF+, or better. There is light blunting of the spine corners, especially the bottom one, which shows a bit of torn paper on the back. The spine binding on both covers shows a bit of creasing, but no ink breakage.

Batman: Seduction of the Gun #1. This issue is a one-shot story.

At the time of publication, DC Comics president Jenette Kahn recounts the loss of John Reisenbach, son of Warner executive Sandy Reisenbach, to a senseless street shooting. She announces all the proceeds of this book are going to the John A. Reisenbach Foundation for gun-control education activities.

VF/NM, or better; off-white to white pages. This comic shows some light wear in spots along the spine. Because of this, I don't know if a NM- is possible.

Batman: The Abduction [nn]. This issue is a one-shot story, and it features a sequence in which a drugged Batman fights Bruce Lee.

NM-, maybe better. There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as some light wear on the edges near those corners. Otherwise, I think this book would be a 9.8 contender.

Before I claim 'finished' with my one-shots, I'm throwing this CGC slab in here. It's the ONLY Batman one-shot story I had graded and it was one of the last comics I submitted before CGC went to hell. Meaning, it got the grade it should have. Lol

Batman: The Blue, The Grey, and the Bat [nn]. This comic has an embossed cover and it is a one-shot story putting Batman smack dab into the middle of the Civil War.

At present, there are around 50 copies in the CGC census. I can't verify this because I closed my GPA account, but that's the number I saw back in October.

CGC 9.8, White Pages. There are a few Newton Rings inside the front & back, as well as a couple cosmetic scuffs.

$50 shipped

Before I continue listings for 'Batman' titled-series', I'm going to list some out-of-sequence Batman comics, which include All-Star Batman, Anarky, and Azrael. I'm going to go ahead and list some of my All-Star Batman slabs as well, since my slab sales thread is closed and locked.

First up....All-Star Batman (I won't finish today).

All-Star Batman #1, blank variant. This issue features appearances by Two-Face, Firefly, and Killer Moth.

NM condition, or better. I think this comic has 9.8 potential after a clean/press. The one or two defects I see are so minor that they are hard to see, i.e. a spine tick and possible soiling on the back near the top staple. This is a very nice looking comic book.

All-Star Batman #1, Aspen Comics/Michael Turner sketch edition.

CGC 9.9, White Pages. There are a few areas of Newton Rings around the building on the front cover. There are a few cosmetic scratches on the back of the slab.

I didn't see any recent eBay sales for a 9.9, and as I mentioned earlier, I no longer have an open GPA account. Shipping is free. Reasonable offers are welcome.

$150, or best offer

All-Star Batman #1, John Romita, Jr. variant. This copy was signed by John Romita, Jr. and Scott Snyder on 'Batman Day--2016'.

CGC SS 9.9, White Pages. The front and back of the slab shows a number of mild Newton Rings and spots, as well as light cosmetic scratches.

Within the past 45 days, there have been two sales for a signed 9.9 copy of this comic. One sold for $879.99 with only JR's signature on it. That's nuts!!! The other sold for $579.99 with JR's and Snyder's signatures. Both were NOT accepted offers sales.

I don't believe in out-of-touch comic speculation, so I'm going lower than that. Shipping is free. Reasonable offers are welcome.

$450, or best offer

I don't see any recent eBay sales for this variant.

That's all the slabs I have for All-Star Batman. The rest are raw.

All-Star Batman #1, John Romita, Jr./Danny Miki ‘Batman’ variant. This issue features appearances by Two-Face, Firefly, and Killer Moth.

VF+, or better. With all the spine ticks and a mild stacking roll, a press will help. A few of the ticks do break ink though.
