Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Annual #6. This issue is a Legends of the Dead Earth story, featuring Batwoman and Batman from the Middle Ages.

FN/VF, maybe better. Plenty of defects here, especially the bottom edge of the back cover showing some odd white spots on it, which could be a production defect.

Batman: Ghosts…A Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween Special. Tim Sale did the cover art and interior work. The story features an appearance by Penguin.

VF, or better. The front also shows a few spots of very light soiling along the spine. The back cover shows a handful of very small ‘spots’ around the cover that may be production-related. Both covers show a few areas of very light wear along all three edges, although some of these may actually be a slightly bad cut that impacted the cover images.

Batman: Mitefall…A Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween Special. This issue features the 2nd appearance of Bat-Mite. The story is an over-the-top (and rather violent) parody of Knightfall, and The Death of Superman.

VF, maybe better. The front cover shows extremely light wear along the top edge, while the back cover shows light wear near the bottom staple. The back shows a couple very light fingerprints that may not clean off.

That's it for my Batman: LotDK series. I'm still working on this last box of comics before it gets stored, so next up will be a bunch of Batman mini-series' I collected during the 80's and 90's. I will be listing these as individual lots, unless there's an issue missing from the series.

This first mini-series is incomplete...issue #4 of 4 was sold a few years ago. I'm listing the first three issues as fillers.

Batman: Bane of the Demon #1, limited series. This series is a 4-part story, featuring appearances by Bane and Talia al Ghul.

VF/NM, or better. A higher grade is possible if a press is done for a couple of mild pressable defects.

From here on out, for all the mini-series' that I collected, I will only list a price for the entire series/lot only. I'd rather not break these up if someone needs a filler. I will do my best to annotate if the series is complete or not. Again, Media Mail shipping is included in the price.

Batman: Black & White #1 to #4, 1996 limited series. This series was dedicated to Neil Pozner, and it features all black and white stories by Jim Lee, Neil Gaiman, Frank Miller, and others.

Issue #1 cover was done by Jim Lee and Scott Williams, while issue #2 cover was done by Frank Miller.

VF to VF/NM, or slightly better. All four comics will benefit from a press. I will provide back cover scans on request.

Batman: Black and White #1, Marc Silvestri cover. The legendary, Eisner Award-winning series returns in a brand new 6-issue limited series, featuring work by Neal Adams, Joe Quinones, and others. Each story contains a paragraph about the artists.

I did not complete this series.

VF, no better. The front cover shows a few spots of very light ink rubs along the spine, in the black background. The back cover shows a few light cosmetic scratches in a few spots, as well as a few light finger prints.

Batman: Manbat #1 to #3, limited series. This series is an Elseworlds story. The comics are in prestige format (cardstock cover, no staples), with all three comics having a wrap-around cover.

These will include one or more of the following: light ink-breakage on the spine bindings, dings and scratches to the glossy covers, light blunting to the spine corners, a few small spine stress creases, and a few spots of very light wear along the spine.

I am listing the following 4-issue limited series individually because they are in prestige format, meaning cardstock covers and no staples. Also, there are a few things with the following books that I'd like to highlight. You can buy the series as a 'lot' for $20 shipped, or as individually priced. Also, there are two copies of issue #2, with different grades and prices. The extra #2 isn't included in the lot.

Batman: The Cult #1, limited deluxe series. The cover is embossed. This series features Deacon Blackfire, and an appearance by Robin. Bernie Wrightson had a big hand in this comic series. This copy has an unverified signature, supposedly by Bernie Wrightson. I have done some research...it looks similar in some ways.

VF-, or better. Both covers show some very light rubs to the gloss along the spine. The back also shows some very mild indentations along the left page edge and the bottom edge. Both covers show some light cosmetic scratches. A press will help a bit.

Batman: The Cult #2, limited deluxe series. This series features Deacon Blackfire, and appearances by Robin. Bernie Wrightson had a big hand in this comic series.

1st copy: VF-, or better. The spine does have a couple of rough spots on it that I believe to be glue from the production process. The front cover shows some very light rubs to the gloss in a few spots, especially in the lower right quadrant. There is also a small 'dent' in the cover, just above the chain around Batman's wrist. The back cover also shows very light rubs to the gloss in spots around the page. There is a small tear in the paper (not the whole cover) near the top spine corner.

2nd copy: VF/NM, or better. Both covers show a few very light rubs to the gloss in a few spots. This is a pretty clean comic book, but I hesitate to give it a Near Mint estimate because of the scuffs to the gloss.

$5 (copy one)

$7 (copy two)

Batman: The Cult #3, limited deluxe series. This series features Deacon Blackfire, and appearances by Robin. Bernie Wrightson had a big hand in this comic series.

FN+, no better. This comic is a little rough-looking. There are rough glues spots along the spine that come from the production process. There's a small handful of spine stress creases/ticks…with a few that very lightly break the ink. Both covers show light wear to the ink and paper, dings, scuffs, indentations, and light finger bends. There are plenty of cosmetic scratches on the covers as well.

Batman: The Cult #4, limited deluxe series. This comic concludes the series. Bernie Wrightson had a big hand in this comic series.

FN+, no better. There are rough glues spots along the spine that come from the production process. There are bends in both covers near a few corners, especially the bottom left corner of the back cover. The front cover shows some loss of gloss near the bottom spine corner…that corner suffers from drop damage and ink loss.

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, softcover TPB. This 13th print edition was published by Warner Books.

FN/VF, or better. The lower right corner of the back cover shows some ‘scratches’ near the spine. There are a couple of small nicks and indentations on both covers, some of which lightly break the ink. The bottom page corners of both covers shows small bend creases that lightly break the ink. There are a few fingerprints on both covers that may not clean off.

I had to take photos because the book is too damn thick for the scanner. Lol

The next three listings are for Batman: The Long Halloween. These are all the comics I have left from the series. The rest were sold off before Tim Sale's untimely passing. I would have kept the series, but no one could forecast Tim Sale's death at such a young-ish age. I have no desire to collect them all again, so I'm parting with what I have left.

R.I.P. Mr. Sale.

Batman: The Long Halloween #2, Thanksgiving. This comic, and series, was created by Tim Sale and Jeph Loeb.

VF-, or better. Unfortunately, the bottom right corner of the entire comic has a bend through it, which is worse on the front cover. There is light ink breakage at these bends. The back cover shows a few very light scratches/scuffs to the gloss, as well as some light fingerprints, which may clean off.

Batman: The Long Halloween #11, Roman Holiday. This comic, and series, was created by Tim Sale and Jeph Loeb.

VF, or better. The front cover shows a very mild edge bend near the top right corner, which shows a little bit of wear on the edges. There also some very light tracing indentations to the right of the Batman candle that don’t break ink. The back cover shows a few very light scratches/scuffs to the gloss, as well as a couple light fingerprints that may clean off.

Batman: The Ultimate Evil #1 and #2, limited series. These prestige format comics have cardstock covers, and the story concerns child sex tourism. There is an eight-page article about this problem in book two.

VF, or better. Both books show light roughening of the back covers near the bottom spine corner (especially the second book, which shows ink breakage). Issue #2 has a small bend crease at the bottom left corner that goes through the whole book. It very lightly breaks the ink on the back cover. Both books have light cosmetic scratches/scuffs on the back cover, as well as a few fingerprints that may clean off.

Batman: Two-Face Strikes Twice #1 and #2, limited series. Both comics are flip books, which translates to a 4-part story.

VF to VF/NM, or better. For issue #1, the front cover shows some light edge wear on the top and bottom.
For issue #2, there's light blunting of the spine corners that has caused wear and tear on the front cover near those corners. The bottom spine corner especially has a small piece of paper missing. The back cover shows very light creasing/ink-breakage of the spine binding.
