Part II of Galen130's Sale: Copper/Modern Raw Comics---Batman Collection!!!19168

I haven't aired it out. It's part of the provenance. Galen130 private msg quote post Address this user
All-Star Batman #1, blank variant. This issue features appearances by Two-Face, Firefly, and Killer Moth.

NM condition, or better. I think this comic has 9.8 potential after a clean/press. The one or two defects I see are so minor that they are hard to see, i.e. a spine tick and possible soiling on the back near the top staple. This is a very nice looking comic book.

$10

All-Star Batman #1, Aspen Comics/Michael Turner sketch edition.

CGC 9.9, White Pages. There are a few areas of Newton Rings around the building on the front cover. There are a few cosmetic scratches on the back of the slab.

I didn't see any recent eBay sales for a 9.9, and as I mentioned earlier, I no longer have an open GPA account. Shipping is free. Reasonable offers are welcome.

$150, or best offer

All-Star Batman #1, John Romita, Jr. variant. This copy was signed by John Romita, Jr. and Scott Snyder on 'Batman Day--2016'.

CGC SS 9.9, White Pages. The front and back of the slab shows a number of mild Newton Rings and spots, as well as light cosmetic scratches.

Within the past 45 days, there have been two sales for a signed 9.9 copy of this comic. One sold for $879.99 with only JR's signature on it. That's nuts!!! The other sold for $579.99 with JR's and Snyder's signatures. Both were NOT accepted offers sales.

I don't believe in out-of-touch comic speculation, so I'm going lower than that. Shipping is free. Reasonable offers are welcome.

$450, or best offer

All-Star Batman #1, Scorpion Comics/Barry Kitson sketch edition. Only 1500 copies were produced.

CGC 9.9, White Pages. There is a small amount of minor Newton Rings inside the front and back, as well as a few cosmetic scratches front and back.

I don't see any recent eBay sales for this variant.

That's all the slabs I have for All-Star Batman. The rest are raw.

All-Star Batman #1, John Romita, Jr./Danny Miki ‘Batman’ variant. This issue features appearances by Two-Face, Firefly, and Killer Moth.

VF+, or better. With all the spine ticks and a mild stacking roll, a press will help. A few of the ticks do break ink though.

NM, or better. There is very light blunting of the spine corners, as well as a couple of spine stress crease/ticks on the back cover that barely break the ink. A press may help this one.

All-Star Batman #2. This issue features appearances by Killer Croc and Beast.

All-Star Batman #2, John Romita, Jr./Danny Miki ‘Batman & Two-Face’ variant. This issue features appearances by Killer Croc and Beast.

VF, or better. You can see the obvious spine crease/wrinkle on the back cover. It will press out, but it does break ink near the spine.

All-Star Batman #3.

NM-, maybe better. The spine corners are a tad frayed, but that’s not uncommon for card stock covers. The bottom spine corner keeps the grade below a 9.4...in my opinion.

All-Star Batman #3. This copy is the Declan Shalvey variant cover.

NM-, or better. The spine corners are a tad frayed, but that’s not uncommon for card stock covers. The front cover shows a very mild stacking indentation about a half inch from the spine. It doesn't break ink, and it should press out nicely.

All-Star Batman #6, Francesco Francavilla variant.

VF+, maybe better. The back cover shows a few very light ink rubs along the spine near the top spine corner, as well as some kind of smudge or scuff near the bottom edge. A press will help a bit, although I don't know if the grade would go up.

With all the different 'variants' of issues #1 to #6 listed previously, feel free to message me with any offers for a 'lot' of this short run. Any combo of covers will be fine, since there are so many of them. Lol.

The next two listings are for the last of my All-Star Batman comics.

All-Star Batman #11, Rafael Albuquerque ‘Batman’ variant.

VF, maybe better. The back cover shows a vertical stacking bend/crease, or possibly a mild ‘cut’ into the cover closer to the top and bottom, near the spine. It appears to barely break the ink, especially on the bottom. It looks like a cut made by someone opening the package containing these books.

The Batman character 'Anarky' made his 1st appearance in Detective Comics #608, which I don't have anymore. This next listing is for a limited series feature this character.

Anarky #1 to #4, four-part mini-series. These comics feature appearances by Batman, Darkseid, and Demon.

I am selling these comics as a 'lot', NOT individually.

VF, or better. There is light blunting of the spine corners, as well as light ink rubs along the spine on the back cover of issues #1 and #2. There are a couple of stress creases on the back covers that barely break the ink. All four comics show either very mild indentations/finger bends and/or very mild spine rolls…all of which can be pressed out.

I will provide back cover scans on request.

$12 (for the set)

That's all for today. I have a sizeable run of Azrael comics to list next. I just have to figure out how to list them. I'll be back soon.

The next run of comics are Azrael #1 to #46, plus a one-shot and a few annuals. If you don't already know, Azrael (Jean-Paul Valley) replaced Bruce Wayne as Batman for awhile in the 90's, and his 1st appearance was in Batman: The Sword of Azrael mini-series. I don't have that series anymore, but this self-titled series made it to #100 before it was dropped.

Because there are so many comics in this run, I'm going to list them individually for anyone looking for fillers. At the end of the 46-issue run, I'll state a 'lot' price. Technically, I can't do that first without listing everything, and I won't list all 46 before the weekend. Lol.

Azrael #1 (direct). This issue starts Azrael in his 1st self-titled series. Batman and Robin make an appearance.

VF/NM, or better; off-white to white pages. The front cover shows a couple of finger ‘indentations’ that will press out for a higher grade.
