I enjoyed watching the movie. Looked good on the IMAX screen. I got a free ticket for prescreen. A lot more enjoyable and serious when compared to the last Thor movie. If you've like the other Ant-Man movies you'll like this one. Won't say anymore. |

Well, that was disappointing. Not worth the money. Jonathan Majors' Kang is truly the only entertaining part of the movie. The MCU refuses to let drama breathe for more than a second, and it kills all stake's momentum.

Quote:Originally Posted by theCapraAegagrus I could not agree 100% more. Jonathan Majors was the only entertaining aspect The rest was a hot drama mess. Character development in the last couple phases? ---- Completely non-existent. The MCU as I once new it, is dead. 5/6 piss poor movies in a row seals it. Unreal stark contrast to the 1st 3 phases where character development, story telling, and creating a feel of realism was #1. And Cassie Lang? - I never rooted for a villain to put down a <cough, choke> "hero" down for good, but man was I hoping. What an annoying little effer. |

i liked it - it was not one of the best mcu and def not end-game quality but let’s see where this is taken us. think key is what SL was thinking aloud at the end. first PC was cool - 2nd one not worth the wait |

Guess my son and I are outliers? just got back from viewing it and - we both really liked it!! Now - I had read no reviews and had basically zero info on what it was about - maybe that helped? Paul Rudd is always good a being Paul Rudd - fun and entertaining -sets up a new big baddie Will be looking forward to how Kang integrates into future projects and I'm looking forward to more Ant-Man related content!!! btw...Michelle Pfeiffer is only 15 years older than me...and well....there's been some work but damned -she's looking good!!! Really enjoy Michael Douglas too - makes me want to re-watch the Romancing the Stone films!!! I will 100% watch this again when it makes it to Disney+ - which is more than I can say for most Marvel lately - I didn't watch in the cinema and have no desire to watch, even for 'free' at home!! I would even be interested in more Microverse stuff - Disney - just pay the $$$ bring back the Micronauts!!! |

I really enjoyed it, I thought there were definitely a few slow spots but overall I was entertained and I loved both the extra scenes at the end. It did take a little long to get going, I felt like the first 15 minutes could have just been 5 and been just as good. I will definitely be giving it another watch or two once it hits Disney+. 7 out of 10. |

I liked it overall. Certainly better than Love and Thunder, and I think the pacing was better than Wakanda Forever. I'd give it a solid B. I can usually somewhat relate to why reviewers give a certain grade on average, but this one I don't get.

I avoided all trailers, reviews, and even this thread before seeing it at a screening hosted by my LCS, so I went in with zero influence from the opinions of others. Both my son and I enjoyed it, and I was surprised later to see some of the really bad reviews. It is not an intellectual or artistic buffet, but I don't expect that out of superhero movies.
