We had an old tree go down in a derecho a few years back. I cut most of it up for firewood. Then some for short seats around our fire pit. Eventually we got a wasps nest in one of our stump type seats. The wasps were getting really pissed when I would mow the lawn. So I sprayed for them and then went to get the nest out. Good lord I had no idea wasps could do this in older wood. 🤷♂️    |

| @DrWatson I had to swat a few off of a nest to prep an a/c unit for that storm last night. They were trying to let me know they didn't like me evicting them. But they all left after I introduced one of the buzzing buddies to my boot. |
