The books range from 7.0-9.0 in grade with white pages. I was lucky enough to go through 20 copies a few months ago to cherry pick this copy Razor sharp corners and white pages. The only defect being a crease that breaks color bottom of the spine. There were other nice copies but I think those have already been sold online. |

@Bronte Stocked for Christmas. $599 is high for that Arcade 1Up Pac Man game. If they don't sell, they'll drop to $299. Edit: you can get it at Walmart for $299 right now. It doesn't seem as either include the riser, which is a must. |

@DrWatson I see that the Pac Man box reads XL Size never saw that before on Arcade 1ups maybe does not need a riser would be good if they did away with them.

Pac-Man still gives me anxiety whenever I see it. Frogger also. Running from killer ghosts and dodging cars. Just so stressful as a young kid with 2 quarters in his pocket.

@DrWatson Yeah I wouldn't suggest buying from Costco unless you need warranty. I just thought they looked cool. The Atari is actually interesting in that it has a lot if the old games. I don't know if I could stand the crappy graphics for more thsn 30 minutes though. |

Taller, bigger screen, etc etc. Have to say that Costco stocks inferior models as often as they do upgraded ones… have to be careful and review the specs rather than jumping to uninformed conclusions that products are equivalent. |

Quote:Originally Posted by Murm You are are correct, sir. It is bigger. It seems to be a fairly new product. I'd hate to put that sucker together. Some of the reviews are saying that there are more technical problems with it. I'm not too keen on the light up buttons. I'll stick with the smaller one with the riser that I got for $229 on sale at QVC last year. |

This has nothing to do with comic books or collecting but I think it is interesting to see how history can repeat itself over the years. This is an entry from a journal I kept while in the NAVY about the cruises we took. 5 November 1956 "At anchor off fueling station Sitrah outside of the Harbor of Bahrain. Got word that Cairo had been bombed and that there was rioting in Bahrain. Notified this Morning that due to the closure of the Suez Canal we will have to sit here until further notice, we may be called upon to evacuate American citizens just as the Sixth Fleet has done at Port Said. If we can't go back thru Suez we will have to go around Africa which will take about thirty days. We are told that the U.N.issued a cease fire order but the English and French have ignored it." It would be 5 February 1957 before we returned to Norfolk. |

@GAC - That’s a blast from the past, Angelo! According to my dashboard, I have had a CBCS account since November 8, 2015. We were all anxiously awaiting the birth of the forum, and if I remember correctly, it had a few hiccups when it started.
