Just show something cool: Part 519089

Some bats were getting into my attic and we had a pest company install measures to remove them and keep them out. Bats eat lots of mosquitoes, and my son wanted me to put up a place for the displaced bats to live.

Picked this up in Mississippi on a road trip. A C. W. Parker design, original paint, 1920’s or 30’s. Just need to borrow a tail from a horse.

It's really cool. And looks like you found a perfect spot for it in your house.

Black light paint, UV glow sticks, and "rigging" so you can make it walk like a giant stilt puppet in a parade. Yes, it was Oregon Country Faire but I still thought I was having a flashback!

@GAC it's an awesome, active group!! Plus, you don't need to be a skeleton owner to join. Here's one in someone's house.

A different indoor skeleton with a pumpkin head.

At night ...

That same pumpkin head skeleton in the hands of a tattoo artist ...

Are those pumpkin heads or Groots? Or maybe the answer is 'yes'.

My neighbor moved out yesterday and texted me saying there are 2 suitcases outside with some old video games and systems if I wanted to get them before they are picked up by the trash men. I thought it would be nothing but junk but surprisingly there’s some good stuff. The pic is just some from the first suitcase. Glad he told me.

Here is the rest of what was worth keeping.
Good mix of games, systems & movies.
There are 3 systems - PS1, PS2 & SNES.
Don’t know why someone would just throw this stuff away.

Spite?

I also know some people throw out anything that is slightly old / unused. Sorta the opposite mentality of a hoarder.

The fact you got it is great and definitely much better than the trash heap. Nice!

The thing about Saturday mornings is that they were an event... for me, anyway. I looked forward to them all week. That's the part that kids today are missing.

I'd wake up at 6:30 (very unusual for me... I've never been a morning person), start my mom's coffee, get a big bowl of some sugary cereal or maybe some Pop-Tarts, turn on the TV and watch for the next 5 hours or so.

Laff-a-lympics, Hong Kong Phooey, Scooby-Doo, Dynomutt and the Blue Falcon, the Bugs Bunny/ Road Runner Hour, Super Friends, Land of the Lost (not a cartoon but still)... good times.

@DWeeB1967 @DrWatson Absolutely! Those late 70's Saturday mornings were great. Cartoons ruled..
And weekdays after school, I couldn't wait to watch the original Spider-Man cartoons.

It was absolutely a special time that will never happen again. The anticipation made it more special. Monday to Friday it was so tough to wake up....Saturday morning I was up at 7am. The quality or subject matter of the cartoons were great. I especially loved the action adventure cartoons...Thundarr the Barbarian, Spiderman and his amazing friends, the Incredible Hulk, The Herculoids, Space Ghost, Birdman, The Galaxy Trio, Dungeons & Dragons etc....wonderful memories for sure.
