I was not. Definitely all over that book. Would you believe my buddy was the underbidder. Great book. Ultra rare. I miss the days when Ace was under the radar

Not entirely sure what you might be hinting at. Is this something like what you had in mind?

Getting ready to send in 100 books, but how do I decide. I threw a bunch on the floor, thinking that would help. Everything in pics for the most part are in NM condition GA and SA #1's, #nn's, promos, giveaways or Dell file copies.
Maybe I should through darts blindly at them and send those in for grading.

@earthshaker01 Looks like a fun puzzle to solve. I can get paralyzed for days sometimes trying to put together the best possible submission. Is the potential for selling a consideration for you when you decide? I know it's not for many, but for me it always has to be. I typically only slab books that I'm ready to sell, but special discounts like this cause me to have to choose from books that I am not looking to sell. So I kind of use this casual criteria:

Filter 1: Expected Value...if the book grades at expectations.
Filter 2: Unplanned Value...if the book grades slightly below expectations.
Filter 3: Liquidity...which items sell quickly at or near FMV.

I should know by now to NOT visit the LCS too often. I was in there a few months ago, looking to find something, and spotted this book displayed on the wall. Probably would never have bid on this book had I found it on the internet, but I guess it was irresistible close up. The other oddity is I have been collecting comics for just over 20 years, and never had a S.A. or G.A. issue of Adventure comics before.

Awesome book and awesome cover.

I wish I can find a cover for this book, but I have a feeling I'll be better off just buying a complete copy.
