As the story goes, Firehair’s grand-daughter & her nephew Toro were captured by Hitler’s zombie stormtroopers, brought to the decomposing Fuehrer’s castle throne room, chained and tortured over a spiked colander and eventually rescued from tenderization by the Human Torch, a self igniting android created in her uncle’s secret laboratory...

...and yes, this could only happen in the GA!

The biggest problem the Human Torch had as an android was getting into too many one sided relationships lacking any depth...

Action Comics 192. This one was found with a bunch of other Golden and Silver Age comics that my great-great aunt had.

Syd Shores’ Captain America swingin' in trying to free several captive birds and a bound Bucky from a cagey villain in a Polly suit! Somehow, Cap is expected to clean-up after the Parrot without even having a folded newspaper handy...

...Beak careful, dude!

Ditko's sig on the billboard is the icing on the cake for this classic cover here.

If memory serves I bought this off a European ebay seller raw. I was nervous about getting a purple label with the easily touched up black cover but it all worked out.

Love the use of textured surface on this classic Everett cover. After a couple of beers you can almost imagine this as a normal family gathering for holiday dinner next to the Christmas tree...

... have a very merry, one and all!

LOL! Thanks, ...and good recollection if you’re remembering my previous copy as I parted company with that one years ago.

I used to have a single mid-grade copy acquired eight years ago or thereabouts. Also, I seem to recall that copy was part of a larger deal. It was also a Canadian copy, but well worn, with just so-so eye appeal.

After a bit of research I discovered the prior owner of that book had cracked it out of the CGC holder and obtained a full grade point bump by resubmitting the book to PGX.

Needless to say, I sold the copy in fairly short order taking a slight loss. My recent acquisition (old label CGC) is another animal altogether. This is the first high grade copy I’ve owned (highest graded Canadian copy).

Me happy!

The original Predator X!
(just this week I was reading an X-men TPB and learned what a Predator X is, it's from the "Bro" era of Marvel)

Without being gifted fire-proof pj’s that would’ve been inadvisable.

Well I just made one of the coolest purchases. It cost me 4k(50.00 a book) but I am getting 80 comics pretty much all VF+/NM file copies. Some of which sell for a 1000 or more. One of the books is very scare called "If an A-Bomb Fall."
I'll tell you more about the comics once all 80 books arrive and the significance of this paticular collection. Here is a pic of the A-Bomb and the H-Bomb which I already have.
