What's better than one Medal of Honor on Veteran's Day, how about two Medals of Honor. Both are really gorgeous copies.

Not a war book, but a precursor to war reflecting patriotic zeal and pride in national service...

Once I saw this cover I knew I had to own a copy. Skulls, damsel in distress, giant snake with wings...

Not many to go around so I am content with this 4.0.

oh and great Dick Ayers art!!!

Distressed damsels were quite the rage back in the GA. This one seems really distressed!

Love the ghoulish character at the bottom warning potential buyers of the horrors within!

Alas, that poor unfortunate damsel just couldn’t keep herself outta trouble! In the very next issue she starts cuttin’ up and only the Human Torch’s brave efforts can keep her from falling to pieces!

OTOH, in the GA, some distressed damsels were able to shed their skins to get away...

just had these delivered about 30 mins ago from an auction I found on line...nothing amazing, but still pretty cool books and some are actually in very good shape (some are not, but I couldn't tell when they post 5 books in 1 pic ).

Thankfully the older ones (Hit and National) are in the best shape and I looked up this guy's name written on the cover (stamped as well) of one of the nationals and I saw mention of his collection..so does anyone know if this guy Bruce Lehr from Pa was a legit pedigree, 'cause that'd be awesome) I'd bet all these nationals are his.

Your Mystic is part of a proud line of Timely/Atlas Mystics ...the third incarnation... and a cool pre-code horror to boot! Mystic Comics, all three series, have an interesting history. The first issue sported a Spider pulp cover swipe by Alex Schomburg...

Fantastic book! I'll have to look into these and learn more about them....this one you posted (as well as the other you posted) is way out of my league...but it's cool if mine is a distant cousin

I actually looked up (for the first time) mystic comics when I saw mine in auction and freaked when I saw the values...then realized mine just said Mystic...not Mystic Comics I didnt care about the rat chew when I thought it was worth 1000's

Thanks for the post...going to keep an eye for some of yours now

Nothing rarer in giveaways than these 1950 Manuel Pacifico Tuna Fisherman #1 & #2 giveaways from Breast O'Chicken Tuna. These are the best copies I have seen to date.
