1947. I really don't know what to say but pretty cool to have an 72 year old copy printed on newspaper quality paper in minty condition. Plus superman's colors are kind of cool. Oh! And drink your Ovaltine, because that's what the back cover says.

Since I'm a big fan of malt beverages, I can heartily endorse Ovaltine too!

So here is an amazingly old book at 81 years old. Hard to find in high grade for sure. I have only seen two in high grade. So I have them both. One at 9.4 and this second raw copy with an unused mailer. I would if cbcs would encapsulate the the envelope? I think cgc does, if asked. Anyhow here they are. Cool to have two.

Here is a Black Hawk published in Australia 48/49. Has the standard newspaper cover with interior black and white pages. Had this book in my collection for over 10 years and decided time it went to get graded as CBCS are in Seattle during Emerald city comic Con. Hope to get at least a 8.0 off-white to white pages. I'll post a pic of the graded book when I get it back.

Well tomorrow I have a plan. I will be making a list of every book I have. Daunting task. I know there are over 1000 slabs, and not sure how many raw. Feel like I need to know what all I have. I hope I get it done tomorrow.
