@martymann there is no way to tell which was my first four color. I have so many bought over the years. I want to say #44 Terry amd the Pirates or #12 Bambi. One of those two I think.

A lot of great art in this cover. Tough comic to find. This is highest graded at 8.0.

Wow great cover. Bummer the label is blank. I definitely want to track down the cover artist.

I'd wager that CBCS could fill in those blanks for him. Also, from what we can see, this book appears undergraded. It may not be UG, but gauging from the front cover scan it presents much better than grade. After all, it's just .5 under a high grade designation based on where most collectors calculate high grade to start.

@the420bandito and @CatmanAmerica - the cover artists are listed as Bill Benulis and good old Jack Abel. Interior includes Nick Cardy and Matt Baker. According to mcs.com, the book is actually at least a partial reprint of Fight Comics #53.

Finally got word I'll be getting 3 orders back in about 2 weeks. Can't even recall what's in them but I'm sure I'll post some here.
I think I'm not going to look up what they are until they arrive. Kind of an "Oh Yea that's what I sent in!"

As we're getting closer to winter I'm noticing more comics that feature icey covers, like the Capt. Marvel Jr. and 4Most above. My contributions to chilly adventure settings include this polar romp...

The greenish mass in the background of Lou Fine's cover for HIT Comics #9 looks convincingly like a huge floating iceberg in the North Atlantic...

Yes finally. Getting some movements on my orders. Should have some freshly graded stuff by end of next week or so. Random GA crap again. Hoping for some to have 9.0 grades or above. Fingers crossed.

Here is a couple high grade promos you don't see too often in any grade. 1954 U.S. Treasury give away "Foxhole on you Frontlawn" and 1951 "Santa's Secrets."
