Just got these back from my March 2022 submission. Quicker than I thought, but still took a while. Apologies for the picture quality. Hard to get the glare out.

Love this one from the cold war. Comics are just fantasy stories, right? This could never happen in real life, right?

Nice grade on this one. Glad to preserve it.

Not a high grade, but glad to have one. Would trade if anyone interested.

I really like these "New Direction" EC's.

I am generally up for trading. I have about 900 comics (mostly Silver Age) and a lot of Silver Age slabs. DM me if interested. Merry Christmas!

Trying to figure out the cover of that MD comic. Looks like a near-drowning victim getting an adjustment for his lumbago.

CPR wasn't created until 1960, five years after this comic came out. I'm guessing that laying a drowning victim face down while supplying oxygen was an accepted medical practice. I could be wrong though.

You're correct. Also, pressing on the diaphragm was supposed to stimulate breathing, but it was rarely successful. CPR and mouth-to-mouth may not save everyone (not by a long shot), but it was a huge improvement on this approach.
