Favorite slab wall mount options18758

" . " Davethebrave private msg quote post Address this user
While my office display is done, I am now putting up some books, magazines, other collectibles in my basement and later in my garage.

Realize old threads on this but want to revisit based on latest products.

I really like crafticomics.com options for raw books but not thrilled with the bulkiness of their slab version.

Looking for recommendations.

*** Specific to my interest*** For slabbed books, what are favorites for minimal mounting (no surrounding frame, ideally)?

I showed my wife and she was so happy for me she started to cry. Batman66 private msg quote post Address this user

when you son moved out, I took over his bedroom for my comic book room. I used the window to create an opportunity to display some books, plus I blocked the natural light. I used tongue and grove planks to cover the window and 1"x4" to frame around it. I used a table saw to rip down the 1x4 to do the inner frame and make the shelf. Everything was done with a Brad nailer so it's easy to remove. Took me less than an hour to build

Those are very nice.
The ones I happen to use are CollectorMount.
They double as a stand if needed.

I found some shelves on Amazon that were very easy to install and were reasonably priced, in my opinion. So these are in my office:

They have various sizes, but I used 60 inch shelves for mine. Here's the link: https://a.co/d/682Zpw4

I have always used 3M Command picture hangers stuck to the slab behind the label. But that was always with older slabs, which are not as concave in the back as newer ones.

We print these at work. It’s two pieces and the screws that mount them to a wall holds the two pieces together and adds tension that holds a book securely.
