Not sure what type of delay I will have with using the CBCS Canada route but for $$ savings I will gladly tolerate it |

Not sure if I should be concerned or not since my screen/press submission of 10 weeks ago doesn't even show up as "submitted". Nothing....

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. | xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
@KatKomics, @Paint_Monk I'll keep you posted. My orders are mid April and end of May.

Have I told you about the time I dropped off 3,000 comics at SDCC? | Scifinator private msg quote post Address this user
@Sonny_1313 it will likely add a week or two to your order. My understanding is that there is a weekly shipment which goes back and forth between TX & Fl.

Got an email back from customer service; my books are all in or on their way to Dallas. So I guess my May order basically caught up to my April order? Any which way, they said both orders should be done in 2-3 weeks.

? Guys, what is the best affordable way to get an X-men 94 with clear cover bends and wear signs graded through CBCS. I really what get the best grade possible and press is a real fact because at current the book is a solid 4.5 to 5.5 ungraded and intact.

@Buzbe Probably press screen. You'll pay an extra $5 for the screening, but they won't press it unless they think the grade will improve. And you won't get charged for the pressing until it actually gets pressed, so it spreads out the payment a bit.

Got my shipping email today for the April 17 order. Ignoring the actual shipping time that's 20 weeks, the vast majority of which were pressing.

@Lonestar @Paint_Monk They might be a little faster. When I asked where my orders were in the pressing stream, the customer service response made it sound like my end of May order had almost caught up to the mid-April order. We'll see when I get the May shipping email but it might end up being around 15 weeks.

will be interesting to see how the CBCS Canada TAT is. Handed 11 books in on June 9th, dash shows as received July 5th (hope the timer starts from June??) I expect there to be additional time for bulk shipping back to Canada. So this is week 13 (from June)...maybe another few weeks in pressing then grading???

Dropped off at Fan Expo Dallas May 3rd. Updated online to “processing” May 10th, and no further info since. And the title/series is still incorrect on the online invoice so it’s apparently not made it to grading and correcting/updating online info.

Quote:Originally Posted by BrandonM317 That's not encouraging at all. Mine were dropped off at Lost Nation Comic Con on June 1st - I had to literally pester customer service to update my order to "submitted" around July 16th, over a month and half later. Now, I have no idea where things are and have a customer service inquiry pending. All I'm told is that they're "in pressing" or "they're waiting at pressing" or some such stall tactic. Again. The only thing at this point that would make this dumpster fire of communication worth it would be decent grades post-press. Other than that, this has been a lousy experience thus far. The saddest part is that I really want to LOVE CBCS and be a CBCS advocate, but at this point they're making it tough. |

I mailed in a bunch of books to be pressed. Mailed to the Clearwater Florida address. Received on the 30th. Doesn't say anything online about them being recieved. Shit makes me nervous.

@Draco It's been 4 days working days. We receive a lot of mail here to go through, and I am behind on it, but a week or more is not unusual. You should see it marked as processing before the end of the week. We also backdate it to the day it was delivered so there is no loss of turnaround time. |
