@SteveRicketts I'm a little confused, I just printed out an invoice for some books that I want pressed and graded and the texas address still comes up. Should I send the books to Florida first? or do they go to texaas, then florida?

Send them to Clearwater FL. Where is it telling you to ship to Dallas? I'll have the devs fix it.

@SteveRicketts is there a tier system for pressing prices? And does it tell you about how long it adds to grading?

@Bobsaget Yes, pressing is in the same tier system as grading. I don't see pricing on the site, but it's listed in the submission process when you're doing an invoice. Here is the pricing list from the Facebook page... Turnaround times for Modern, Expanded, and Consumer tiers is currently 10-12 weeks for orders submitted today. All the turnaround times listed on this price sheet are pretty accurate. |

Does fast track guarantee to be half of the current turnaround time or does that depend on volume currently at hand?

@Mysterian Fast Pass is currently half the time. Volume could certainly have an impact on it, but right now it is on time.

@xkonk I put in a request for our developers to get pressing prices and turnaround times added to the proper place on our website. I'll keep reminding them until they get it done.

@SteveRicketts Just a heads up that I have 5 books coming your way. I think they're great candidates for a press n' clean. Looking forward to your magic!! |

Another couple questions(that I'm sure have been answered somewhere in the previous 641 posts): Can a signed book be cleaned and pressed? Can a cbcs yellow label be pre screened for press still in the holder? If a cbcs yellow label is cracked for a press and regrade will it still be yellow when it comes back? Thanks everyone |

On the screening page of the website: If you submitted comics in CBCS holders, we will evaluate the book while reviewing the grader's notes. If we determine that the book will likely not get a grade improvement, we will not remove the book from the holder. Your book will be returned to you still in the original holder with the rest of your order. |

I submitted books for pressing that show received on January 31st anyone have any idea when they may move to grading? Books I submitted at the same time have already been graded and shipped back to me. Not really worried about tat but I am going to be out of town for about 3 weeks in June and don't want the books to show up then.

@teacha777 Ship pressing orders to the office in Florida. You can ship them to Dallas, but it may slow the order down by going through extra hands.

Have I told you about the time I dropped off 3,000 comics at SDCC? | Scifinator private msg quote post Address this user
@SteveRicketts - I was able to find some conflicting info on pressing of foil/embossed/hologram etc covers so hope you don't mind if I ask about pressing of Secret City Saga 0A &/or 0B foil covers and WildC.A.T.S. 1C Goid Edition. Thanks much. |

CBCS Pressing | SteveRicketts private msg quote post Address this user
Foil isn't a problem. Embossed, hologram, and chromium can't be pressed in the typical sense, but there are things that can be done with localized pressing and other methods. If anything can be done to help those books, we do it. If not, we will reject the book and refund the pressing charge. |
