Love and Monsters on Prime. I thought it was pretty good for a post- apocalyptic sci-fi movie with some romance and humor.

I recently subscribed to Peacock because it was $1 a month special and I did it so my mom could watch her soap opera that got moved there exclusively. Otherwise I had no real desire to watch anything on it.
After almost two months, I finally decided to see what all was on there as far as movies go. There are a few pretty good ones I want to watch and re-watch. However, there are some that look so completely awful I was just laughing going through the list.

Watched the Witcher Blood Origins series. It was fine but not something I will likely rewatch. It did make me want to rewatch Witcher a bit though.

I watched Killer Sally after someone posted about it here. She reminds me a bit of the girl from Get Out.

@GAC I don't think I've ever purposefully set out to watch it, but I've seen it 4 times now. Definitely worth it every once in a while.

Tonight we finished the Lord of the Rings trilogy with our little one.

I've really been enjoying watching the DC animated movies on HBO Plus. It's kind of like sitting down to read a graphic novel...even better in some ways. But recently I watched one that had Harley Quinn in it. I found it to be obnoxious almost to the point of unwatchable. I just don't understand the appeal or popularity of that character.

The original Batman TAS Harley I thought was brilliant...but in later incarnations, I totally get how she can be grating.

@EbayMafia

Man, I totally agree with you on the Harley subject. I just find no appeal in the character. I do have a copy of BA #12 and love the cover but mainly because of Batgirl.

I may step on some toes here....but I also don't see the huge appeal of The Joker. How that character has become so overwhelmingly popular is hard for me to understand.

I think with the the joker it depends on which version you are referring to.

The batman the animated series was very cool. And the dark knight was good. But one look at Letos joker and I turned the TV off. Never saw Joaquin version.

I'm still confused while writing this, but after asking myself, am I really about to watch this, I somehow found M3GAN more entertaining than anything I watched in 2022.

What a great film. And the pacing is just so well done.
Still one of my favorite films of all time.

Well, it and American Psycho.
Really like Margin Call and how it shows a different side of the housing mortgage crisis that you see in The Big Short, which is another very good movie.
