@drmccoy74 the bad acting, costumes, special effects, etc are definitely more obvious and corny than when I was a kid watching it. But I still enjoyed it!!! At least I got to see Sleestaks!!! That was the high point for me.

Finished Echo today. The action is better in the first few episodes and the last couple focuses more on character. It was solid if not spectacular.

@xkonk I wished it was the reverse. I thought the action in the first few episodes was okay and was hoping it would get better and stronger as the season went on.

Exactly. I’m as low brow as can be. Farts are still hilarious.

"Singapore Sling"

"Jodi Arias - Dirty Little Secret"
After watching this movie, I did become somewhat interested in viewing some of the court trial hearings.

Started the recent season of Loki. First episode was a step up from the end of last season. It was the only Marvel show we enjoyed enough to watch all the way through… but it was on a steady decline so my expectations were tempered.

Hoping it is worth following through to the end.

On a separate note, watched LA Confidential earlier this week. Great movie and shocked I’d never seen it before. Highly recommend. 9.5/10…

I've been watching Seth Macfarlane's newest TV show, TED, which is a prequel show set before the movies.

I haven't laughed out loud at a TV sitcom in forever.

The stories are up there with Family Guy and the original TED movies, the actors are amazing and they "get" what their doing, and they have sight gags that you would expect from Family Guy, but work perfectly in the "real world" (TED is trying to eat a McDonald's apple pie, but when TED burns his mouth, he throws the dessert away in disgust, and when the apple pie lands on some discarded newspapers it causes them erupt into flames)

Netflix: Bank of Dave. Uplifting feel-good David vs. Goliath truish story. Really appreciated the fast pacing, never bogged down or got drawn out. Glad I watched it, enjoyed it from start to finish. Had to keep the volume a little higher than usual to decipher the British accents. A must for anyone who ever liked Def Leppard.

At opposite ends of the spectrum, I watched Rebel Moon and The Holdovers. People will enjoy Rebel Moon exactly as much as they usually enjoy Snyder movies. The Holdovers was affecting and had great acting.
