It has a story, it has cheesy comedy, it has Jason Mamoa playing Jason Mamoa, it has cool fight scenes. Don't go see it, it is fairly simple and predictable. It is just another superhero movie. Can't wait to see it again, as usual. I did get the movie comic. Superhero fanboy.

| Wife and I watched Barbie and Violent Night over past few days. Barbie: 4/10 - I had low expectations but it was still much, much worse… wife disliked it as well. Violent Night: 8/10 - Fun movie that doesn’t take itself too seriously. |

| I saw Aquaman 2 yesterday. @makahuka's review is spot-on. You (probably?) won't regret seeing it, but you also won't feel like you did anything with your time. We started watching the MCU movies with my daughter. So far we're at Iron Man, Hulk, and Iron Man 2. Iron Man is sufficient but really gets by thanks to RDJ. Hulk, I think, is a better movie than people remember but overlooked because they replaced Norton and Marvel didn't own it at the time. Iron Man 2 is goofier than Iron Man but has better action. I also appreciate the little cameos, like Stan Lee and Lou Ferrigno, that have pretty much disappeared because they've all been done now. |

| I watched "Mr. Monk's Last Case" on Peacock yesterday. If you're a huge Monk fan, like I am, it's worth a watch. It has it's good moments. The worst part was that the murder was very easy to figure out. Of course, Randy had one of his outrageous ideas!! LOL If you aren't a fan of the Monk TV series, this movie won't make you one. |

| @drmccoy74 the bad acting, costumes, special effects, etc are definitely more obvious and corny than when I was a kid watching it. But I still enjoyed it!!! At least I got to see Sleestaks!!! That was the high point for me. | ||
