@power_struggle55 Thank you so much for the awesome Todd McFarlane book and the Supergirl coloring book. I enjoyed looking at the McFarlane book with my son today. I can't wait to look through it more. The coloring book is something I have been wanting and maybe needing for awhile. Good stress reliever. I got them awhile ago however I wanted to wait until my teaching semester was over. This way I can enjoy them more. |

I saw McFarlane book and thought it looked awesome for any fan of him. supergirl thought was cool. from what I see its a reprint of a comic issue you can color. so read then color, or color then read or color as you read |

this was the first time I did the holiday exchange (last year joined the forum around the time exchange started. but wasnt left behind as someone did send me a gift). I was a little worried mostly as a gift giver (will gift be good, do they have? not a good idea, etc). But after opening my gift and loving it. Brian opening theirs and him loving it. I am told by my family. I always give the best gifts because I seem to know the perfect gift. so I just made sure to use same mindset as if it was for my niece, nephew or other family. I just need to get an idea what they like...and can find. unless something comes up in the next year. I do plan on doing this again. |

found out, this whole time. I had covid. I assumed I had caught whatever my brother in law caught as we both started feeling sick at the same time after seeing each other at a party. we both had same symptoms. so when he tested negative for covid. I thought the same thing. he tested positive for flu. so assumed as well. then found out someone else did test positive for covid...sure enough I did. but shouldnt ruin my christmas. symptoms started last tuesday so past the cdc suggested 5 day isolation, so can leave home with a mask on. I should be fine by christmas eve (cdc suggests 5 days to isiolate, another 5 days to wear a mask) I only regret not taking a test last week. I had limited my interactions as best I could when I didnt know what I had. But still went to the store, bought wrestling tickets (was only one on line and ticket guy was behind glass. Im sure he washed hands after all transactions). Now I know for time being, even when getting the mail wear a face mask out of everyone at the party only me, and parents got covid. so likely we got it somewhere else. |

Its a little too late but I will quarintine now. when I didnt know what I had tried to stay away from people. but I wish I had knew a lot sooner. looking back, symptoms shouldve been a huge sign -3 nights last week had a fever of 101.1 -cold like symptoms mostly -did not lose sense of taste/smell (which threw me off. its the one thing I always am looking for when I get a cold or have allergies) -didnt notice any shortness of breath -did feel tired but at night so couldve been normal |

love seeing what people got. out of curiosity, I asked if HulkSmash had bought my gift or from his personal collection. he said personal. I appreciate it even more because instead of getting me a random graded comic off ebay, of MCS, etc. He opted to pick one from his personal collection. Id appreciate any gift. even if it was a 2.0 comic of a series I never heard of and from a publisher never heard of. But the fact he chose a comic he had bought for himself, paid for it to be graded, then later to chose to gift it to me when I said didnt care about what comic or grade. This was fun. if this returns again next year. will sign up. maybe will have something in my personal collection someone would like (wouldve done that for Brian but didnt have any comics or at least much by the artists he likes. do have one spawn but its a random comic) glad Brian loves the books i sent him. when I looking for gift ideas the McFarlane book was one of the first things I found which gave me the idea of getting him a "art of" book. |
