Anybody know anything about this ASM litho? This is a canvas print I purchased on eBay years ago for less than $10. The lighting is bad,.. canvas stock is solid white.

I'm thinking there were also prints done on high quality paper stock. If so, why paper and canvas prints? Is one more scarce than the other?

It's called Spider-Man in the Rain by John Romita, Sr. It seems to be a print similar to the signed one in the link.

Thanks, Jesse.

Mine is smaller than the one in the link ... (8 x 11 1/4), and it isn't numbered. Being a smaller size canvas print has really got me curious.

I have Eastman and Sakai on other comics. I’d rather have them do a drawing I can hang than another comic.

There’s so many other Tmnt artists I could use but not many Usagi. I know Peach did a cover run but I’m not sure I ever read a Usagi that Sakai didn’t illustrate the interior.

Can I get a sketch cover verified from an artist that “the public” doesn’t view as popular?

@HeinzDad if the artist fills out the form to go with it, they should verify anyone.

I'd be happy to help by filling out any necessary forms. I should also start drawing again, it's been a few months....

CGC offers “Qualified” grades for incomplete books, but how do they know any missing pages do not have water damage?

Or rust migration, oxidation, tears, writing, tape, folds, etc. if you’re giving a grade as if defects were absent would it not be reasonable to say every book would be a 9.8 “if not for such n such defect(s)”? 😋

Hello All,

Looking to renew my membership so I can get some signed books graded. But I've been all over the website and for the life of me I can't find where to renew. Did they just stop needing a membership for grading? Is a membership no longer available to get discounts on grading like the other people?

Thank you for your time.

@Vrishnak no paid membership is needed to submit (it was never a requirement). You can submit at any time. Currently there is no discount code offered as far as I'm aware.

Would CBCS grade the micro comics that came in a Spider-man 3 DVD package? These “minis” measure 1.5” x 2.25”. I really like the dvd and toy promo reprints and always on the lookout deals for high grade copies in the wild. This one of the 3 included in the DVD that also came with a magnifying lens to read them 😂

Would it be acceptable to post a link for hockey/baseball cards I have up for auction at Heritage? Just in case there are some collectors on this forum.

It's been mentioned on the forum that the limitation on grading often comes down to not having an inner sleeve of appropriate size. They have to be produced in quantity. Do you know if they grade anything of similar size?

I'm a bit oblivious to the fees since I've never submitted to CGC, but is it accurate that CGC charges $20 extra for witnessed signatures?

I think small is not an issue when it comes to inner well size. I believe the inner wells are sonically sealed and they can be sealed at any size. It's just a question of whether CBCS will grade the small books....below is a picture of a smaller than normal comic book that they did grade.
