Found this for $1 at a yard sale. I liked the art it caught my eye then I noticed McFarlane name so he did the cover I like it a lot.

What do you all think about this cover?

I think it's a great cover. What can I say about McFarlane on TMNT?


I'll be holding onto this one for a while. I was tempted to send it in for the McFarlane signing, but I don't want to risk a grade drop when they crack it out of the slab.

One of the funny things about that cover is it came out in 1991 and Spawn #1 was 1992. When Flaming Carrot #27 came out, McFarlane wasn't that big a deal, so there are maybe 75 or so graded copies out there as opposed to Spawn #1 that has literally tens of thousands of graded copies. It took years for people to even realise McFarlane did a TMNT cover for an issue of Flaming Carrot!
