| So this might be strange? I submitted one comic from NYCC which was literally 13 days ago. Express Pressing & Express Grading were selected. It just got entered into the CBCS system today (nice!); AND it states that the comic is in "Pressing" via email and through the "Print Invoice"??? Express Pressing is 193 days as stated. Why would my book go into pressing after 13 days? Or is it just in queue? Man am I lost... happy (I think) but lost |

| @Nuffsaid111 - I would be that it is in queue for pressing. Additionally, I still think that the stated times are on the inflated side as none of my press submissions are taking anywhere near as long as what is estimated. Why would they be inflated? I can only guess that it is to either manage expectations or that the estimates are miscalculated from when they migrated from Week TAT's to Business Day TAT's. | ||

| Just got the email that one of our vintage only, grade only submissions is ready for pickup. This is the second of these in a row that has been completed in only four months clock time. Meanwhile, none of the new or modern grade only orders have budged, and many of them were submitted before the vintage ones. It really makes me think that there are now two grading lines, one for vintage and one for not vintage, and that the bulk of what CBCS has in queue is new or modern. Either that or we got the lucky side of two flukes in row, I guess it's anybody's guess as to which is correct. |

| @figment - I believe there are definitely different lanes outside of the express tiers. Potentially up to 5 non-express lanes: New Modern Vintage Vintage + Premium Maybe New & Modern are the same lane or maybe different lanes with the same coincidental speed, i don't know. But, I suspect that Vintage is in the old Expanded lane, Vintage Plus is in the old Consumer lane, and the Premium being an amalgam of the old 1 Day, 2 Day, Rapid, Quicksteam tiers without the guarantee of the Express tiers. Each of the old tiers had their own lanes and sometimes the Consumer/Expanded/Modern tier had similar TAT's and sometimes very different TAT's. |

| For anyone seeking information regarding TAT for modern comics in the standard tier -- my comics were submitted to CBCS on December 21, 2021. I just received an email today (about 4 hours ago) that my comics have been graded, encapsulated, and are ready to be shipped. It's been approximately 211 business days since my submission was received. Now, let's hope they are actually shipped out in a timely manner. |

| I have one order - 21-360B1D1 - of 210 modern pre-screens submitted on 9/26/2021 that is now in Billing so should be shipped within a week. However I have another order - 21-2F2FAA9 - of 270 modern pre-screens submitted on 8/23/2021 that is still in Heatseal and has been for four months. Kind of strange that a "younger" order of the same quantity magnitude is processed before the "older" one especially since the "older" one was in Grading and Heatseal several months before the "younger" one. I still have a ton of books on other orders and asked CS to cancel them back at the first of September and other than a rep calling me to confirm that's what I want and the regional rep emailing me, I have heard crickets. Guess I'll have to get back on that horse again... |
