For those coming to this thread for actual information which may give you an idea of Grade only and Press & Grade TATs, with a couple of VSP thrown in, below is a detail of my 32 Non-Express Tier submissions from June 2021 through August of 2022.

Got email on my Magazine "Test Dummy" submission, in "Bold" below.

CR = Comic ReHolder
EX = Expanded (now Vintage)
CN = Consumer (now Vintage Plus)
MD = Modern
NW = New
VN = Vintage
VT = Vintage Plus
PM = Premium

Some quick factoids on mid-2021 submissions:

33 Separate submissions
- 28 Press & Grade Submissions
- 1 VSP, Press & Grade Submission
- 4 Grade only Submissions

The longest TAT of my grade only was <51 wks or 244 Business days.
The longest TAT for combined Press & Grade was only 71 1/2 wks or 343 Business days.
The Shortest TAT for combined Press & Grade was 44 wks or 213 Busisness days.
The funny thing is, that both the longest and shortest TATs came from submissions that were delivered to CBCS on the same day on June 8th. [/b]

Delivered to CBCS on June 8th 2021 in two separate boxes. (All standard, w/out any FAST P's and one with VSP added).

5 of the 11 had press completed within 43wks,
1 of the 11 had press completed in 44wks,

Delivered to CBCS 11/15/2021 (Yes, 2021. This is a submission of 66 Magazines that were sent to Joe at @CFP_Comics for Pressing and he was going to re-forward to cgc for grading. After a conversation with Steve Borock, I decided to have CFP send to CBCS as it I was not in a hurry to have them back and 5 1/2 dozen would be a good batch to run through and get iron out the process of Magazine encasement. "Test Dummies" is how I referred to them. Thank you again Joe for your agreeing to alter the forwarding after you completed your Pressing services. Well, there has been movement at CBCS this past week.)

I think you would do a great job. Very detail oriented and great time lines.

Got an email from CS back yesterday finally. They apologized for the delay. Said they were looking for the submission so they could send it back to me (which leads me to believe it really was going to be 2.5 years from submission, I think it was a really weird quirk of the way it was done because I've never had any other submission take more than 10-11 months). So they asked me to give them to the end of the week to get back to me.

still in heatseal but as I said. I was shocked how fast it started grading. as long as it doesnt take months to finish heatseal. Im fine. gave me time to order the Ranger Slayer Lightning Collection figure to go with the Saban's Go Go Power Rangers #8 (her first apparance) that is in the submission.

"Test Dummies" is how I referred to them. Thank you again Joe for your agreeing to alter the forwarding after you completed your Pressing services. Two vintage orders received the same day.

The first was completed in 8 calendar days.
The second has been in Billing for 8 calendar days even though the order was paid on the first day.

A separate order for reholder, and three other previous orders have been stuck in Heat Seal for nearly two weeks.

The longest TAT of my grade only was <51 wks or 244 Business days.

The funny thing is, that both the longest and shortest TATs came from submissions that were delivered to CBCS on the same day on June 8th. [/b]

Cool mine should be soon then I submitted mine July 6 2022 I did get a email saying they were in the grading room maybe late March or April will be my guess for mine maybe but at least I know they are in the grade process now just shipped out five books this week waiting because of the 15 precent off code they are offering

mine was ready for heatseal after "hit grading room" email the next day. either they were super fast, or they forgot to email me the "hit grading room" update till right as they finished grading.

Saban's Go Go Power Rangers #8 9.8 (was a little surprised. good surprise. though my last comic treated the same got a 9.0. so I took good care of it.)

Amazing spider-man #4 8.0 Biggest surprise. I knew with the digital sticker removed could be a low grade. conditions described looking back. not surprise. i had kept it in a box. for a while. when I saw value increase took it out. probably that caused the damage. But Im fine. Nothing I can do.

I just had a comic that has been in pressing, now go back to just received. could that (hopefully) just be a clerical error? They got it almost a month before another I sent to them, and the second one has went thru grading and is in "heat seal"

When a book has completed Pressing, but not yet entered Grading, you'll see the status go back to just Received. This is normal and is how you can tell that pressing is complete.

Books I handed to CBCS at Wondercon 2022 moved to Shipping yesterday. Just a couple of weeks shy of one year.
To be 100% fair, when I handed my books over at the show I asked what the turn around time would be and they gave me an honest answer. Nobody misrepresented the time to me ever. It was pretty spot on.

Delivered to CBCS 11/15/2021 (Yes, 2021. This is a submission of 66 Magazines that were sent to Joe at CFP Comics for Pressing and he was going to re-forward to cgc for grading. After a conversation with Steve Borock, I decided to have CFP send to CBCS as I was not in a hurry to have them back and 5 1/2 dozen would be a good batch for CBCS to run through and iron out the process of Magazine encasement. "Test Dummies" is how I referred to them. Thank you again Joe for your agreeing to alter the forwarding after you completed your Pressing services. Well, there has been movement at CBCS this past week.)
