Like many others, I'm still waiting on two 10-book submissions from February 2022. I was really hoping they would be here before Christmas, but that is clearly not happening.

For those coming to this thread for actual information which may give you an idea of Grade only and Press & Grade TATs, with a couple of VSP thrown in, below is a detail of my 32 Non-Express Tier submissions from June 2021 through August of 2022.

Just got the “Pressed and moving to the Grading Area" email notification in Bold below, on a Vintage non-express / non-fastpass press & grade submission.

Some quick factoids:

33 Separate submissions
- 28 Press & Grade Submissions
- 1 VSP, Press & Grade Submission
- 4 Grade only Submissions

The longest TAT of my grade only was <51 wks or 244 Business days.
The longest TAT for combined Press & Grade was only 71 1/2 wks or 343 Business days.
The Shortest TAT for combined Press & Grade was 44 wks or 213 Busisness days.
The funny thing is, that both the longest and shortest TATs came from submissions that were delivered to CBCS on the same day on June 8th. [/b]

Delivered to CBCS on June 8th 2021 in two separate boxes. (All standard, w/out any FAST P's and one with VSP added).

5 of the 11 had press completed within 43wks,
1 of the 11 had press completed in 44wks,
1 of the 11 had press completed in 45wks,
1 of the 11 had press completed in 49wks,
1 of the 11 had press completed in <50wks,
1 of the 11 had press completed in <52wks.
1 of the 11 likely had press completed in ~52wks

Where's my face palm emoji.
It's not like going from 1 million years to press to 16 weeks matters to anyone....... I guess.

The rotating banner on the home page reads:

Turnaround time for Pressing now is 18 weeks.

The TAT for pressing is starting to creep up again.

The banner associated with the promotion is what I assume you meant but the TAT on the main page (link below) still shows 490 days so that hasn't been updated and I believe that is what Steve R. was referring to with regards to the site not being updated and that it should reflect the 16-18 week time, not the old 490 days the site is showing. My guess is the website will get updated by the end of the year to reflect the new estimated TAT for Pressing.

Meanwhile I still have modern no pressing submissions going all the way back to November of last year that haven’t moved. One went into grading 2 months ago and hasn’t moved. Nonexistent customer service hasn’t answered emails, Darryl Hayden leaves me on read on Facebook, and the phone number to leave a message is always full. CBCS doesn’t care about customers it’s painfully clear and obvious. Why anyone chooses to give them anymore money just baffles me. Once my orders are complete I’m done with CBCS and look forward to seeing them go out of business from their absolute poor business practices and constant middle fingers to all of us that helped them build up to what they are. Beckett should fire everyone from the top down and start from scratch. It literally couldn’t get any worse at this point.

I do find it extraordinarily odd that the rallying cry of "customer service" has been going on for several years now.

It seems like it should be the easiest topic to correct somewhat quickly and yet, it remains.

I dont get; and yet I'm sure there is an answer.

CS has not ever been an issue for me; however (a big "however" ), I attend so so many conventions that CBCS is at that I just go to their booth and all is good.
In fact, the guys that are at shows are the absolute best.

I cringe at being in a remote area in the U.S. or ex-North America and having an issue. Just a change in address would scare me if I didn't attend shows to work with the guys to get that changed personal and upfront

I think the easy answer is that they simply don’t care to correct the issue. People still happily throw money at them despite them doing absolutely nothing about turnaround times and customer service issues. Why would they worry about fixing anything when people continue to pay for their broken system?

ok should I be concerned now. been a year and have not recieved any update since 12/15/21 when processing email update. Its one book, no pressing. but seems people who did orders literally same time and place getting theirs....and those doing it later getting theirs grading

Submitted at convention around 11/7 Processed 12/15 those were last year. I dont know what to do. Ive been all for being patient. but was told it likely be a year...now see people doing theirs after mine (or even same weekend at same show) get theirs or have better luck

My biggest complaint. It's bad enough they have zero customer service and exorbitant tats. Worst of all is the completing and returning books out of order. Is there no supervision?

i know. like do they pick a random submission order from piles? is it based on the more you got the more priority.

I just want my Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #9 villain virgin cover graded and returned. at this rate wont be surprised if my submissions from june (again convention) will be just as long...or even be done faster.

Im thinking of just emailing them to ask for an update. only thing I can do. yes they might take weeks to respond if they ever do. but only thing I can do.

It's hard because I like a lot about this company compared to cgc. However I sent in 6 moderns mid November and they are being sent back now. I don't get it. It's so much faster and easier. I keep feeling this may be the zune versus ipod.

I don’t think they give priority to bigger orders because my 109 book submission from
November has been in grading for like 2 months and no movement. Yet I see people who submitted after me getting their books back. I honestly think cbcs lost my order and just refuses to admit it. I’ve asked several times and get no response and Darryl Hayden on the Facebook cbcs page has had me repeatedly send him my submission # and he just ghosts me over and over. I honestly don’t know what to do. Do I need to get an attorney to send them a nasty gram and get their attention? Going to their booths at cons does no good because they’re not even actual cbcs employees they’re just hired staff specifically for shows. This is outright ridiculous. I’ve never wanted to see a company fail as bad as I want to see this one fail with how terribly they treat paying customers and our books. Do they seriously have so little pride in themselves and their work that they just don’t care?

That's good to hear, and this statement is not meant to bring you down in any way. But what about a couple of forum members that have been waiting for well over a year with no movement on their orders? Nor have they had any responses to their multiple inquiries. What the...?

I'm into my order, 8 months. I knew it would be at least a year before I see my books. But with each new "where are my books" or "no response from customer service" and of course the new one "CBCS finally responded and asked for info but are now ghosting me", my hopes are dashed, a little bit more, that I will not receive my books by the year mark. Mind you, I would rather wait longer if that meant that others with older submissions would get their books first. One can dream...

Not trying to rub it in but just advising of my order status to give folks an idea of where their orders are at. For the ones that are at the year mark or more, hopefully they'll be getting news soon.

My February 2022 order with 8 Modern, 2 Consumer, 1 VSP, entered grading today. It was received on February 11, 2022, so that's 312 calendar days to get to the grading stage.
