Perfect, thank you! I was having hard time gauging these type of submissions from the forum. I wasn't too sure if they were as accurate compared to other submissions. It seems it's all over the place. I haven't submitted in 5 years, noob reborn!

@Nedesco - It is stated to be an estimated 21 business days (4 weeks) on the main page. I have been seeing it run around 1 - 4 weeks and mostly in the 2 - 3 week zone the past several months. For a new VSP, add another 3-6 weeks or 28 business days.

A new update for anyone that submitted before the tier-reorganization: Received a customer service email today stating my 2-Day (HAH!) Modern submitted in March is in grading. The other 19 books, 1 Expanded the rest Modern, show no change in status.

Which Math equation is more difficult to comprehend?

March 2022 --> November 22 = 2 Days

My recent ones took nearly four months if that helps you with your decision. Mine were previously graded comics that had severely scratched up cases upon arrival.

Times flows differently in Texas... it's just slower for the rest of us.

On a positive note, the 18 Modern are now is grading leaving just the Expanded in limbo.

My order from June of 2021 is ready. Got an email before Thanksgiving that it is ready for pickup. I'm 40-ish miles away. I emailed customer service that I'd pick my order up on a particular date, at a particular time, after Thanksgiving. Got no reply. I showed up at that time, anyway. When I got there, saw signs directing folks who are picking up orders to the cafeteria. The cafeteria is at the other end of the building. I walked down there and found that the cafeteria is locked with signs displaying contact information for who folks should contact in regards to orders. As if they're going to respond to that contact when they won't respond to calls or emails directed to "customer service". That was last week. I've called and left a voice mail and sent two more emails to "customer service". I still don't have my comics nor have I heard from CBCS. What are the odds that I do any more business with CBCS after this?

They are definitely catching up. I got an email response from my June email yesterday. It obviously was pointless and did me no good but it's nice to know one person is answering every email.

That's what I've gotten out of my $1600 order. It included, early on, what showed to be a $145.00 overpayment, that has now been negated. That $145.00 is listed as "fees" and not a, potential, refund. I believe that was for some pressing that wasn't done, and now we're going to ignore it and move on. I'm ready to move on once I get my effing books.

This "out-of-order stuff" needs to stop! How is it that CBCS cannot keep things in order? This does not inspire confidence!

ps. I am still glad for you @Mountie73!

Received an email stating an order of modern books (no fast pass/no pressing) went into Grading today. They have been there since early December 2021 and were submitted at a time when the TAT wasn't a year wait. The odd thing is that they were showing as in grading months ago, and then bounced back to processing.

Had a weird one today. Usually when I get the "Good News! Your book(s) are now in the grading room and will be examined by the CBCS Grading Team shortly!" it means that the pre-screening is complete. I received that email on one of my old, modern pre-screen orders that has 302 books on it.

When I get that email, I go to the orders, select the order that I received the email for and select the "Print Invoice" which brings up the invoice in a new tab. Once the invoice is up, I do a Ctrl-F search on "REJECT" (without the quotes) which provides me the total number of books that did not pass the pre-screen. I subtract the rejects from the total to see what I will have to pay when the grading is done.

Well, the weird thing is that there were zero rejects which tells me either a) every book passed the pre-screen which is highly unlikely for 302 books or b) they haven't done the pre-screen yet which is not how it usually goes.

Does anyone have a similar experience?

Over the past several years we've gotten a couple "regular" orders through in accelerated time frames while other regular orders sit idle. It makes me think the out of order ones were mis-categorized at a faster tier while moving through the line.

I don't pre-screen very often, but I do use pressing. I usually get that 'grading room' email when they get out of pressing but before any kind of grading happens. I would have guessed that your books just got there and haven't been screened yet.

One single Vintage book, pre-1975, submitted for grading and encapsulation only. This is NOT an Express or Vintage+ order!

I will refrain from further comment as I have zero visibility into CBCS internal process or tier backlogs. In the meantime our group continues to wait for the New and Modern orders now placed "long ago". Sigh.
