| @Dart1146 - Could be. Sometimes when the submission is moving between stages, I have seen oddities like that. The most common invoice change I see is moving from HeatSeal back to Grading within a day of so of moving to shipping. | ||

| The website says the current TaT for a standard press is 490 days……I cannot quite wrap my head around that. Not for nothing but it appears that there is a chance that someone is new to comic collecting, gets a comic, sends it in, and by the time they get it back, they don’t collect anymore. | ||

My new baby boy was born 2 weeks after my most recent submission in June (snail speed pressing/grading). I'm not sure if he'll be in school by the time I receive my submission back or not but either way it will be an interesting race!  The clock is ticking..... |

| Just did a quick rough estimate of TAT for some of my orders all are around the standard TAT, which is approx 1 year in real time. I had some orders returned to me at the point and a VSP returned a little earlier than that ~ 10 months. | ||

| For those coming to this thread for actual information which may give you an idea of Grade only and Press & Grade TATs, with a couple of VSP thrown in, below is a detail of my 32 Non-Express Tier submissions from June 2021 through August of 2022. Just got the Completed/Shipped notification, in Bold below, on the last of my 2021 submissions that were delivered to CBCS between June and September. Some quick factoids: 33 Separate submissions - 28 Press & Grade Submissions - 1 VSP, Press & Grade Submission - 4 Grade only Submissions The longest TAT of my grade only was <51 wks or 244 Business days. The longest TAT for combined Press & Grade was only 71 1/2 wks or 343 Business days. The Shortest TAT for combined Press & Grade was 44 wks or 213 Busisness days. The funny thing is, that both the longest and shortest TATs came from submissions that were delivered to CBCS on the same day on June 8th. Delivered to CBCS on June 8th 2021 in two separate boxes. | I have 7 very expensive books stuck in shipping. They have been there for 3.5 weeks. Avengers 1, Tales to Astonish 1; and Golden Age Sub-Mariner 1, Young Allies 1, etc. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get these thing out of Shipping? | What gets me is that when a lot of our orders were submitted, the TAT was posted. My early ones were posted as 16 - 20 weeks. That's acceptable. I sent them in under the guise that in 3 to 4 months I would be receiving my order back. Then when the time is changed to 52 weeks or longer, due to what I can only speculate as "poor order management", there is nothing said. No, "we're sorry"...""here's a discount"..."suck it up buttercup"...nothing. Why are small orders put in after a lot of these going through when older orders are just pushed to the side? Process the books through in order that they are received, not by what is convenient to grade and quickest. My two cents...back to waiting impatiently like everyone else.  |
