I think so many are hoarding for pure spec already that it may cause price drops to accelerate.

Lots of evidence of this. People hording IH 180s 181s and GSX 1s. If they start flooding the market I may stand a chance of getting a GSX #1.

I know this is sacrilege, but I've never liked Wolverine. Colossus, however, I've always really liked.

Its possible. I suppose if the number of books being held to flip, flood the market and outnumber the collectors wanting the book that could be the result.

I haven't either. I'm not sure why not, but I've never found the character all that interesting.

So depending where those other 2 fall 24 projects fall, Deadpool 3 could be the end of Phase 5!

He had the perfect sendoff in Logan. Another poor "creative" choice by MCU management, trying to earn goodwill with cameos rather than good writing (obviously TBD with Deadpool 3).

There's a lot of potential, but I would've been happy with Logan being Hugh's last time in the role. Ryan Reynolds is very committed to Deadpool so hopefully they pull it off.

ARE WE GETTING THE BAND BACK TOGETHER??? Just kidding, there's no band ... Cable got annoyed and killed them before the 2nd set.

Wolverine 88 9.8 recent eBay price $435.00 US. Probably good enough to bring a copy or two to market.

I heard rumors Deadpool 3 would be MCU. Marvel has already laid out the pieces for mutants and wolverine in mcu via ms marvel and a blink and you miss it wolverine easter egg in she-hulk (a brief news article mentions man with metal claws fights in bar)

We are in the goldenage of comic movies as far as I'm concerned. I'm old enough to still remember how meager and slim pickings it used to be. I'm not saying the MCU is not without its issues but as comic fans..huge comic fans...big enough to spend crazy amounts on books and services, the menu below takes me back to the feeling of Saturday Morning Cartoons...almost.

I would like the MCU to get closer to more comic accurate stories and characterizations but I'm happy that the comics I loved as a kid and now are popular enough to warrant that menu above.

No doubt....some eBay listings for Hulk 181 have already added MCU to their title/header.

2005-2019 was the Golden Age of CBMs. We're in a much worse age, now.

It's all a matter of perspective and opinion. But there's no denying the volume of releases. If you like what they're doing you're loving this.

the best part about disney+ shows and the specials (gotg holiday special and werewolf at night) is they tell us stories that probably arent good enough for a movie or needs to over 6-10 episodes. If marvel wasnt doing that we'd probably not get Hawkeye or Loki or wandavision (and the many more but wont list them)

we are in a golden age of MCU. Yes movies and content havent been the best lately but we are still enjoying all (or at least some) of it.

who knew it way back when when marvel decided to make a movie featuring a hero fans didnt care much about anymore would jump start a franchise worth billions of dollars.

I have a theory. Deadpool 3 will be MCU but not in MCU. It will still be in xmen universe but be the first movie to set up Kang Dynasty/Secret Wars. Movie will end with the incursion of the xmen movie universe. being the first official set up to next avengers movies

kind of like how CW did Crisis on Infinite Earths. Early on in the year it began. We see Earth 2 get erased months before the crossover began.

They can do this but not mess up chronological order. this is simular to I believe what the New Avengers run did right before Secret Wars. showed us whats happening in other universes

Deadpool 3: Hugh Jackman Addresses X-Men Canon Problems Over Wolverine Return

Hugh Jackman's Wolverine stands alongside Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man and Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool as some of the most iconic superhero portrayals ever. Soon, two of those mutant heroes will unite as Jackman and Reynolds come back together for Deadpool 3 as the former dons his Wolverine claws "one more time."

As rumors swirled surrounding Marvel Studios' hunt for the MCU's Wolverine, Jackman was revealed by Reynolds in shock fashion to be coming back through a hilarious video. The announcement came as a surprise after the Australian actor committed to 2017's Logan, in which he met his demise, as his final outing.

Nonetheless, their long-awaited team-up was teased as long ago as Deadpool 2 and the Reynolds has been campaigning to bring Jackman back ever since. But since Wolverine was last seen impaled on a tree, many were confused as to how this will come to be, even with the vast possibilities of the Multiverse.

Now, Jackman and Reynolds have followed up on their Deadpool 3 confirmation by addressing the canon issues that come from Wolverine's Logan death.

Hugh Jackman Opens Up on Wolverine Return

Following confirmation that Hugh Jackman's Wolverine will return in Deadpool 3, Ryan Reynolds has shared a video on Twitter to address how the iconic mutant comes back after his death in 2017's Logan.

The couch sit-down takes place in the same living room as the original announcement and offers some insight into the threequel. Reynolds confirmed that Jackman's Wolverine still died in Logan - which takes place in 2029 - and they are "not touching that," before going on to jokingly act out the movie between them:

Reynolds: Hi.
Jackman: Hi. How are you?
Reynolds: You have questions?
Jackman: Yes. I had a lot of questions. I'm sure you have a lot of questions. But rest assured we're gonna answer them right now. Like, for example, how is Wolverine alive after Logan?
Reynolds: Logan takes place in 2029, totally separate thing. Logan died in Logan, not touching that. What happens in our film is, these two f***in' guys...
After jokingly acting out Deadpool 3, the FoxVerse Marvel stars thanked Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and the MCU for the opportunity:

Reynolds: Thank you, Kevin Feige.
Jackman: Love you, Kevin Feige. Thank you, MCU.
The tweet was captioned with a list of things the video addresses, including a reference to the MCU's Captain America and his iconic catchphrase, "I can do this all day:"

Quick explainer video that tackles…
1) Timeline questions
2) Logan canon
3) MCU FAQ
4) Whether we can do this all day or not
The full video, hilariously titled "Deadpool Update, Part Hugh," can be seen below:

I also like comic books from the 2000's, but that doesn't make them Golden Age comics.

The Golden Age of CBMs probably started a tad earlier than previously suggested, as the first couple of X-Men and Spider-Man movies came out before Batman Begins.

Yeah man! You can always count on Ryan to bring the funny. "Logan" wasn't MCU canon anyway, 20th Century Fox's bastard child, so I'm treating it like an X-Men fairy tale until someone proves otherwise.

Key word. Multiverse of Madness made the Fox movies retroactively canon to the MCU.

I wouldn't sweat the "canon". It's just entertainment and if it is outside the canon then they could do a stand-alone movie just because it would be cool and if the fans are behind the team-up then that equals money for Marvel.

Oh i'm not sweating anything, I just hate that my nice clean continuity is forced to be violated by things like "contracts" and "rights" and things instead of everyone just telling the story.

Stupid. That, and I saw that pile of wood and dirt twitch at the end so I know he's not really dead, 'cause you can't kill Wolverine with a stick.
