Get what you can afford. This signing is a rare occurrence. He just doesnt do them, so get everything signed that you can. Im a huge fan so I had several of his books already graded 9.8s. I sent in a large order of my personal books and bought a few to flip in a few years when market improves. Several copies of Spawn 1, Gunslinger 1 (several already signed by Capullo), a few King Spawn 1 raws, plus a few King Spawn 1 already signed by Capullo also, also threw in a raw Venom #1 Bryan Hitch variant for kicks. The raws were minty. All the others were already 9.8 slabbed. I think the total was 13 books. I sent them in 3 separate orders. I take a pic of all of them lined up when they all come back. Hopefully they keep the grades. I know there's a risk. But im thinking the signature will outweigh a slight grade drop. (providing it's a fraction). Im sure they are getting thousands of books for him to sign so they'll probably have them all out on a large table ready for him to just walk by and sign each one at a time. Just hope and pray... |

I'm kinda partial to Spawn #1. I associate Todd McFarlane with Spawn more than any other character...just my opinion.

I can get that, but there wouldnt be a Todd Mcfarlane without his work on Spider man I think, and Amazing spider man before that...and incredible hulk even earlier, and I was rather fond of his work in Infinity inc, as you can almost see him building his someday style for the Hulk while drawing SOlomon grundy

@flanders id love to have him at a convention. i figure if stan lee could do it (and did), TM could too... I'll add though - and unless im wrong, CGC and CBCS slabbed witnessed signatures dont look any different whether they are mailed in, or signed in person at a con. You just cant tell if it was witnessed signed at a con or witnessed signed at the CGC or CBCS HQ... The only difference is your personal experience meeting him. |

I would suspect CGC is going to have something set up like this - for TM to just walk and sign... |

@Darkseid_of_town true. I noticed that myself. That how they sign these things though. They arent necessarily being sold to fans, they are typically included in the VIP seat experience. When I did it a few years ago, You get 2 - 3 WWE superstar autographs, plus the collectable folding chair you were sitting in during the match to take home, a WWE lanyard, a selfie with 1 superstar after the show goes off the air. |

@teacha777 Nice group... I really gave it some hard thought to buy an ASM 300 for this signing... But I decided to pick up all these books above instead of that one book... |

I hope they have great insurance. If that place gets blown out of the water that's a lot of claims of not just comic books, but tons of other stuff.
