Not my collection exactly but for those that remember, I’m managing my dad’s collection and suggesting additions.

He picked up these two this week

Rare to find a Bound Volume this nice offered on EBay. I lucked into this very well preserved Bugs Bunny set from 1959-1960.

Nice! I don't have any yet, but I would have no hesitations about getting aboard the Page train. Being that there is very little established comparison pricing makes it risky...but also creates opportunity.

I was at a local shop dropping off some books for pressing, and had to go through the back issue bins.

I guess I collect Darth Vader sketch covers now.

And I already collected Adam Hughes covers.

I haven't been buying much. Knocking out home improvements lately. Costing a small fortune with inflation bite.
Anyway I think the wildC.A.T.S.'s was someone on the boards selling at MCS and then I picked up a nice looking Showcase
70 on Ebay

Just received a ton of books today from @Darkseid_of_town. While most/ all of these were not listed in his ongoing sales thread, we went off menu and worked out a great deal that was a win-win-win (me, Mike and Grimlock).

I highly recommend dealing with @Darkseid_of_town. Great books at a fair price and he even tossed in an extra book (surprise!) free of charge.

Thanks, again, Mike.

bought a blind long box. no huge hits but definitely got my moneys worth. Is there a better adrenaline rush than driving home with an unsearched long box in the back? 😁

A late night insomnia ebay purchase. I'm looking forward to owning this after convincing a friend of mine not to sell his newsstand copy.

I was so bummed out when I had to return that ASM #29 that had a filled-in advertisement last week, that I bought this issue instead. Of course this book cost more, and I still need a #29.

@esaravo that's a cool cover, I've always loved the simplistic art of this cover and I picked up a clean copy about two years ago.

This new Detective Comics #1064 (Cvr D Inc 1:25 Martin Simmonds Card Stock Var) reminds me of the pulp below or Guillermo del Toro's Metamorphosing Monster. I'm really diggin' it!

Scout Comics has started selling the aluminum press plates for some of their books. There are four plates, one for each color, for each page. Most publishers trash these after the printing is complete, but I think it is a pretty smart move to save them and market them as a fairly unique collectable.

Here is some posters Mike Royer did the art for while with Disney. The first 5 are "counterfeits", as Mike puts it. In the 80's Disney had him recreate existing art for these HUGE ad posters. The others are just ad posters- All signed by Mike.
