| Crazy thought: after the way the teams in the AFC South have played over two games, Jacksonville looks like the front runner to win the division. Who’da thunk it?! Raiders/Titans reminds me of the old “loser leaves town” matches they used to have in wrestling way back when. There’s no coming back from 0-3 for the Raiders. Tennessee plays in such a terrible division that they could lose and still have an outside shot at a comeback if they could somehow pull it together. This should be a really hard fought game, with both teams carrying heavy expectations but already fighting for their playoff lives in week 3. I am going with the Raiders because they are just a little bit more desperate. Buffalo/ Miami was a tough pick. I wanted to take Miami because they are plucky and playing at home in the Miami heat. Until Buffalo actually shows some sign of weakness, however, I think it would be silly to pick against them. I also wanted to take my Lions over the Vikings this week, but I know that road wins in this division are hard to come by, regardless of the teams’ records or how they played last week. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lions win this game. The battle of the Bays was another tough game to pick. I ultimately took Tampa at home, mainly for their run D and the fact that the Packers still can’t seem to block anybody! Speaking of not blocking anybody: what happened to the Bengals O line? They should be able to sneak past the Jets, but if they don’t start protecting better they will not even be returning to the playoffs this year, let alone the super bowl. @michaelekrupp I have little faith in the Vikes winning. I'll be rooting for them, but I picked the Lions. I think the really good game this week will be the Packers versus the Bucs. |
