I may attempt nachos tonight. I've never made them in my life, but they (Mexican restaurant nachos) are one of my favorite things.

I received a carbon steel wok for Christmas, and ended up returning it after I did some research and found out that they are not recommended for electric stoves. So I exchanged it for a 14-inch Cuisinart stainless steel stir fry pan. So far, I am very pleased with it. Here’s what I whipped up last night.![]() ![]() |

It’s piping hot, most the ingredients are on the bottom. We don’t can tomatoes per se, but we do boil, skin, and blend them up before we freeze them in heavy duty zip locks. We lose no moisture in the process so this may be more thin than others like. I think it’s awesome. |

Looks good but I would think if you simmered it for a little longer it would thicken up a tad.

Made chili as well, with a side of freshly baked bread. Made the kids chicken katsu with tonkatsu sauce… so I could use reaper sauce in the chili.![]() |

@esaravo Thanks. I had to try it as my wife has made it 3 times before. She watched his Christmas special on how to make it a couple years ago. I was pleasently surprised that my wife's tasted identical to his.
