Another satisfied customer using the corn bread recipe posted by @DrWatson! Since my wife is allergic to dairy, I did have to make a few substitutions. It still tasted delicious.

Before baking:

Outstanding! The Original Pancake House is famous for those (as opposed to IHOP). I think you have to wait like 20 minutes when you order them. Dessert for breakfast.

@EbayMafia Sounds about right as I'm sure they have to be made to order. Roughly twelve minutes of oven time plus prep time.

My mother used to make it with apple slices inside. I think they had maybe been sauteed first in water and sugar, maybe some cinnamon. It was a favorite for breakfast.

Cajun sausage pasta with medium andouille sausage. It's about as spicy as I can stand. I have to drink milk with it as I eat it. My nose is running, but it sure tastes good.

Did some baking today. My wife made the rolls to go with tonight’s dinner, and I made the wine biscuits (they are called that, but they are really more cookie than biscuit).

Dinner time!

I have the grill grates on my propane grill. They really do help control flames from excess grease from meat.
