First off, this has quickly become my favorite thread here!! I'm loving what I'm seeing. I have a few GAer's that I bought simply because they reminded me of people.

First up is a Flying Cadet comic. One of uncles was a tail gunner on a plane during WW2. I got my middle name from him. This cover just brought him to my mind.

Next up is an Australian copy of Egbert. I had four brothers. One of them passed away a few years ago. My grandpa nicknamed my brother Egbert, so when I saw this, I HAD to have it!!

And finally, my grandma's name on my mom's side, was named Tillie. So of course I had to get a Tillie the Toiler when I ran across it!! This is the grandma that was married to my previously mentioned grandpa.

That's it for now. Compared to you guys, my GA collection is small, so I'm pacing it out!! LOL

@Jesse_O great books amd great history of them as well. Don't hesitate to post your books here even if they might creep out of the GA era. I like seeing any books from basically 1965 on back.
I have an obscure colection to be sure just wanted to make a thread where people could post odd titles. So anything is fair game.
BTW I have the American version of Egbert, very cool book.
Here are a few more.for your viewing pleasure.#1 and 2 are minty, I need to do a little work on the #3 soon.

Pre 1965 does open it up for me more. And the Egbert comic, I couldn't find an American copy with that same cover. I think they swiped some interior art for the Aussie copy. And here is my oldest "comic". I consider it a pulp, but I found it under comics on eBay, if that counts for anything!! LOL!!! It is from 1939 and it falls into my "epic executions" theme for comics so I had to have this one also. This is one I'm pretty positive I over paid for!!

@Jesse_O my oldest comic 1924 and only one graded. There was a hardcover version that can be found but the comic one is a little more scarce. Probably paper would last this long normally. 7 more years and she will be 100.

ZERO that I can find in the census. Tried searching Heckle and Jeckle, TT, and BR.

Blue Ribbon vol 1 issue 1, 1949. Wish she was in better shape, but I'll be getting it graded anyways

Who published that? Had no idea there was a pre-magneto, or that he was a ripoff
