Here are the other two Vital publications giveaways coming back. I had sent in a total of 6 of those from 1950.

@earthshaker01 you have five?? Wtfh 😤 MAYBE someday I'll manage to get my hands on ONE at LOW grade 🤣

I've heard arguments for the wise little hen book, but I would think your '35 (although published after) is the FA due to the wise hen not really being a true "comic book". Your thoughts on that subject?

@shrewbeer technically it think the DD is an illustrated book since it's page designs are not set up in the recognized panel format. Howver, it seems to be widely accepted within the comic world, in that everyone seems to know this Donald Duck book.
Regarding having 5 copies. Yes it is rare to have 1 let alone 5. It's taken me sometime and effort to find nice copies, much like the rest of my collection. Of the 5 copies 4 are really nice, 1 is not as nice. I am going into my safe today and I will try and lay all 5 out and snap a quick pic.
Glad you enjoyed them and some of these other books. Not too many people seem to appreciate the stuff that myself, @Sagii and @Jesse_O post

Which is exactly what I am thinking of doing. Was talking to borock the other day and I mentioned I wanted to rent a local galley room and display the 1000 GA/SA slabs. All #1's, #NN, and Dells in relatively high grade.
Would be cool to have a public showing, just not sure what purpose it would serve. Borock though to do it right before I sell it all, which won't be for years I inagine.

You need to find a sponsor who will display a group of your
collection at various ComicCons in conjunction with their
product(s). Marty Mann

Well here you go all 5. I just cleaned the bottom right one. Going to let it settle and roll it again. The one at the very top even when I have cleaned it will be VG as it has Vg related issues but I'll be able to brighten it up quite a bit. It might be a candidate for me to try a cleaning technique I have thought of but never tried. If I wreck it I wreck it.
The rest will all be VF plus or above when done.

Do you have a list of your books that are truly outstanding
and would attract collectors to a booth display at a convention or show.

One of my favorite series: Super Book of Comics (i collect the 'Omar Bread' edition Looney Tunes issues). There is one 'Hancock Oil' edition i want: The last issue(nn 1948) featuring Bugs Bunny. It's the only HO issue that's not a reprint of the OB series. No scan available anywhere online. It has become my ultimate grail (IF it even exists). Anyway, here's one of my highest grade issues from the LT run

@Jesse_O So I don't have any of the Ellery Queen four colors scanned. I am slowly going through and doing a box at a time, but I have a lot. I will try to locate them and scan them for you since you like the Ellery Queen books it sounds like. On my list of slabs I looked and found these issues. Hold on to something.

Four color 1165 CBCS 9.8 (alternate back cover)
Four color 1165 CBCS 9.6 (common back cover)

Four Color 1243 CBCS 9.4 (alternate back cover)
Four Color 1243 CBCS 9.2 (common back cover)

Four color 1289 CBCS 9.4

@Jesse_O oh yes there are certain four color that had regional back covers. They may be up to 10 times rarer than the common one if you know the years and issues.
Until I showed borock amd the guys two copies at the same time with the different back covers, they did not know about it. They checked with their dell guru (whoever that is) and that's what he told them. Not every four color had alternate back covers just certain ones. I have most of them hell maybe all the ones with alternate back covers.
They were all file copies I got years ago and noticed that when I bought them I had two copies of most four colors and saw some with different back covers.

I noticed that there was some chatter about the Fortress case. I think I recall @SteveRicketts had said CBCS had similar concerns about that type of case design as they had about the CGC #CreepEngine, i.e. they put too much pressure onto the comic book, which can damage the book.
