Found a stash of comics in my spouse's childhood home's attic. A lot of them are in "very" rough shape. But I came across this issue of "Madde" magazine that is actually comic sized. Could be pressed. Some small tears except in the lower right corner. Not sure what grade it would get. But since it is the size of a comic book, can it be considered a comic for submission purposes?

I'm not sure about the comic question but I'm 100% certain that's the best smile I've seen so far today!

Ebay results are plentiful. None graded that I could see though.

Given the prices and quantity available, it might not be worth grading from a money perspective.

Well poop! I was hoping it could be snuck in. Has anyone submitted a magazine yet? Is it the same as with comics?

By the way, there were issues of comics in such bad shape that would break the heart of a diamond.

It would be more for childhood memories than profit.

As far as 'magazine' goes, this is one of those occasions when it really is the size and not what you do with it. If it's comic-size, it's submitted as a comic, so you shouldn't have to wait for magazine-size slabs to finally go live.

Working with 18th century portraits and a 20th century Madde cover is quite the experience!
