I really enjoyed the Blackthorne and DH series. Very Under-rated. I saw in June that the Blackthorne books funded a Kickstarter and will be republished which is great. Long over-due. |

Grant Morrison did an amazing job writing Steel in the 90s JLA book. I wish they had run with that take on the character. He was more of a leader and they really focused on how smart he was building gadgets. He was basically what Mr. Terrific became after being introduced in the ...late 90s?, but without the ego. | ||

BTW - there was a character in the early '90s from DC called The Heckler. Keith Giffen pencilled and Tom & Mary Bierbaum were the writers. His super power was just coming up with so many obnoxious insults that he would drive his enemies into a blind rage and they'd ultimately defeat themselves. Awesome, hilarious title that only lasted 6 issues. Highly recommended and I don't know what happened to the Bierbaums. I know Giffen is getting near retirement age. Giffen is also a highly underrated penciller, imho. |

DC has a kind of interesting character Immortal Man. I think he is now known as Resurrection Man if the two are related. I read the TPB collecting the issues of Resurrection Man and was intrigued enought to pick up a couple copies of the Silver Age first appearance of Immortal Man (Strange Adventures 177): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resurrection_Man_(character) |
