Watched episode two and did a double take after the early bar scene. I turned subtitles on to make sure I wasn't hearing things. This line is a bit over the top. Other than this nonsense, the episode was enjoyable, but too short. I'll wait a few weeks so I can watch multiple episodes at once.  |

| They are setting up the character very well. She could be in the FF, the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy or stand alone movies. She fits right in with the quippy, irreverent, self effacing heroes that Marvel likes so much. I foresee a long screen career for the character. | ||

From what I'm reading and from the clips I'm seeing (we  dropped D+), I'm starting to think these writers really do like the way men act but are upset that "being a lady" put some sort of blocker on it preventing them from acting the same way. They're actually saying that being a man is awesome, and they're just demanding the same joy. Understandable, and more power to them in that regard, but it would be nice if they dropped the 'It's Only Bad When A Man Does It' routine. |
