| @HulkSmash @DWeeB1967 Sorry for not posting the notice sooner. I had intended to, but life got in the way the last few weeks. Been traveling a bunch for work and personal reasons and the date snuck up on me. If I do another one, I'll make sure I post a notice sooner next time. Overall it was a successful show for me. The organizer only charged me $45 for the space, so not much expense to recoup. Val Mayerik was a last minute cancellation, due to a family issue. It was a bit slow at the start, but foot traffic picked up and I was happy with the amount of sales I had. No real big individual books sold, but lots of $5, $10 & $20 books. Unfortunately I had to man my table all day myself. My son has come with my to help in the past, but he was busy and could not help me yesterday. So I did not get a chance to look around at other vendors. Maybe a blessing in disguise as I wasn't tempted to spend any money I just made. |
