@flanders

Nope I think that's a comedy. Last comedy I remember watching was, there is something about Mary. Unless you count she hulk as comedy. For some reason. I dont get a lot of humor....

I'm not much of a fan of current comedic style(s). I usually find it lame or cringey instead of funny. Just my personal taste. Plenty of classic comedies are great for me, but the cringey stuff? It just makes me want to leave the room.

As politically incorrect as it is now, Eddie Murphy used to be funny as hell. Raw and Delirious still maje me laugh. But I dint know, it's like there is a huge disconnect with humor and me, I find very few things funny. Although people laugh at the stuff I say. They say I have dry humor?

He isn't as funny nowadays after kids, and politically incorrect humor would tar and feather him now.

That's true, but I tend to look up his older material anyway.

I've been using an Amazon Basics pen since January and really like it - so decided to get a few comparable pens and 1 $60 pen - nothing crazy like the ones for hundreds and hundreds!
Can't wait to get them in - some are from china so will be a while!

Anyone have suggestions on ink to use - I have some pilot ink to use and have been happy

Anyone else not realize a Warcraft movie was made? Not that I’m the core* audience but $160M budget and $430M gross and I didn’t even know it existed. I think most of its gross was overseas.

Money loser so sequel is unlikely. Yeah, I’m disappointed too.

I only remember now that you mention it. I wasn't really interested and it seemed to disappear pretty quickly. Reviews weren't good, as I recall.

Is hotshot comics legit? I am still waiting on a Spider-man 93 preorder from March.

Edit

Apparently they use magic jack for their long distance. In addition there are a bunch of cgc forum posts that say the guy can't be trusted.

Has anybody ever submitted a book for a signing either here or the other guys one or two days after the date ends? And had it rejected or returned? Or did they ignore the fact that you were a few days late?

I had a situation where about 40 days ago, I just had found out peach Momoko was doing a signing for books to the other guys, but I found out 2 days before submission expired. There was no way I would’ve gotten anything to them before the cut off date.

Anyone experience a rejection or return because of that?

@multi007
I tend to cut it close on purpose because I want to make sure my books get a press AFTER the signing and not before. I always send them Priority, but I've wondered a few times if I was going to make it. I know one time I forgot to mark the box with the initials of the signer and I figured that one was a lost cause, but it went to the signing anyway. I have yet to miss the cut-off, or if I did, they submitted my books anyway.

Just curious...
Why did you want to cancel?

Trying to purchase another book and was slightly over budget in spending for month.

I didn't go into details with seller though. I asked him if it was possible. I didn't go into why or threaten to do anything.

Just a thought if anyone is struggling with organizing drek: The recent Lost Universes price guide gave me the helpful idea of separating out books that way. So now I have 3 boxes of "Lost Universes"...Not dead series, but characters that haven't shown up in a long time Mostly non-Marvel non-DC and mini-series. Boxes are not in alphabetical order, they are ranked 1,2, and 3 based on how meaningful the books are to me, or if I think they could have some demand in the future. I also have a "rebag" box that is helpful to temporarily hold random stuff that is in old ugly bags.

This is not my book, but I'm surprised that it hasn't sold quickly at this price. At $140 it's the lowest price I've seen in a long time. Is it because the eye-appeal doesn't match the grade?

So many buyers just care about the number in the upper left corner that I question whether eye appeal alone would sideline this book. I'm seeing the price dropping on the book recently, though. Looks like Madrox needs to make a screen appearance.

He actually did have a small role in one of the X-men movies. I think it was #3, the one where Logan kills Jean. It went mostly unnoticed though.
