Siesta Key has one of the greatest beaches in the world. Don’t like white beaches but you want to spend an afternoon looking for shark’s teeth? Head down to Venice beach and walk around. They are plentiful there. Take a 4 1/2 hour ride to the other side of the state and you can tour Cape Canaveral/NASA. Spend a few days in that area and check out the beaches around Cocoa Beach. Travel north and you’ll see Daytona Beach, and St Augustine. Check out the Castillo de San Marcos fort while you are in St Augustine. You’ll be amazed. On your return to Sarasota go north through Jacksonville then shift west and south. You’ll head over to a little town outside of Gainesville called Williston. Before you go make an appointment and book your SCUBA time at Devil’s Den. Enjoy the clear water in that spring. Then head back south and stop in Safety Harbor and talk to the locals about a certain dock at the end of a residential street where the manatee hang out. If you are lucky they will give you directions so you can go and look at them one evening. They pop right up there and take deep breaths before going back under the water. It used to drive my dog Bear nuts every time we went. If it’s the right time of the year head south to Fort Meyers or even further south to go tarpon fishing. Yep, nothing but kids and old people can dig FLA. |

why do we still use the QWERTY keyboard? Will we move back to some of the other faster layouts? we only use QWERTY because it slowed people down so the hammers wouldn't jam on typewriters! |

How many slabbed books do you own? Due to an accident on backing up my photos I had to retake photos of every slabbed book I own. My count after dumping over 50 to mcs is 390. |

Quote:Originally Posted by EbayMafia The transition effort/time and lost efficiency is a problem and so is the upgrade cost (laptops/desktops, anything with physical rather than virtual keyboards). That said, a fast qwerty typist will be fast on any new format too. On some instruments or across similar instruments there are different tunings. Guitar has several variations of semi-standard tunings. For example, a good guitarist can adapt to different chord shapes and other muscle-memory-relevant quirks. After a short time their base/general technique will matter more than the format-specific one. My wife types a pretty rapid 140wpm and I a more pedestrian 100. My guess is she’d scale up to 170-200 on a more efficient layout and I’d scale up to where she already is. Neither of us could afford the drop in efficiency and error increase in the interim, however. I think if a role is typing-heavy then it may make sense to go through a period of retraining. Or people can self-train and customize their own transition schedule. |

Any or all or none of these could have been the inspiration for the Lazy Susan. I just know that my Grandma liked them, which is pretty much the only reason I even know what they are. |

IMO, the Captain Marvel movie gets a bad rap. Maybe it is because I knew nothing about the character before I saw the film. I had no expectations going in I found myself having a good time while watching it. It isn’t the best MCU film but it isn’t close to the worst one either. Am I one of the few that actually enjoyed it? |

Quote:Originally Posted by Towmater I enjoyed it, but at the time it was one of the MCU's weakest offerings. That is no longer the case, especially because it was never a bad film to begin with. It just didn't break as much new ground as everything that came before it. But now we have Morbius and everything else looks pretty decent by comparison. |

According to google... What does it mean? If something tears up Jack it leaves destruction in its wake Betty was Betty Broderick a murderer I'm not a 100percent on connection still though Edit Ok Betty was triggered by anger due to abuse. And them she killed her ex and his wife. |
