Newsstand edition copy of The New Teen Titans Annual #1, George Perez contributing. This issue features an appearance by the Omega Men, as well as the origin of X’Hal.

This comic is complete and readable. The scans show all defects well...those spine corners keep my grade estimate down. Those corner defects really pop on the back cover. A clean and press will help here, but those corners are not pretty.

VG/FN, maybe better; off-white pages.

Omega, The Unknown #8. With cover art by Gil Kane, this issue features the 1st brief appearance of the second Foolkiller, as well as the 2nd appearance of Nitro.

As you can see in the scans, especially the top spine corner area, there's ink and paper wear on the spine caused by moisture damage that left a stain. The back cover is pretty filthy too, so I'm going to throw this comic in for.......

Our Fighting Forces #141, #142, and #143. These issues feature The Losers.

All three of these comics have holes punched through them near the spine corners. The scans speak to the other defects present, but I didn't think it was worth the time to list any of them. I don't think any of the comics would do much better than a 2.0 with the hole punches. You be the judge.

I am selling all three of these as a lot, but they can be purchased individually if you need fillers.

GD, give or take; cream pages (maybe a bit of tan color on one or two)

$12 shipped (for all three)

$6 shipped (each copy)

Our Fighting Forces #159, Mark Jewelers insert. This issue has Jack Kirby pencil artwork.

This comic has your typical wear and tear, especially ink rubs all around the front cover, as well as a crease near the top spine half that very lightly breaks ink. The back is filthy and the comic does have a spine roll that offsets the pages. The Mark Jewelers insert looks immaculate. I haven't seen one look this clean.

I haven't been able to find any sales info on a Mark Jewelers version, even on eBay. Maybe people didn't realize they had one. So I'll just throw a price out there and entertain reasonable offers.

GD/VG, give or take; cream to off-white pages (except the insert).

The Phantom Stranger #28 (2nd series). This issue also features The Spawn of Frankenstein.

This issue has plenty of defects, as seen in the scans, but it is complete. Someone wrote 'Bad Boy' on the first page...it's upside down. There is a third staple in the center of the comic...I don't think it's an original. The staining on the back cover doesn't appear to go through to the inside wraps.

GD, probably no better; cream to off-white pages.

Planet of Vampires #2 (Atlas/Seaboard). This comic features work done by Neal Adams and Dick Giordano, as well as the first cover art for Pat Broderick.

Another defunct Atlas/Seaboard comic book that is complete and readable. It's in rough shape, especially the front cover along the top edge and the spine. There is a mild spine roll, or maybe just mis-alignment. A clean and press would help a little.

GD/VG, give or take; off-white pages.

Nope...sorry. As the thread title alludes to, this is mostly low/mid-grade drek. Anything I have in Near Mint minus or better is staying in my personal collection. I'm just making room so I don't have to buy more long boxes. LOL.

Sarge Snorkel #14, featuring Beetle Bailey.

This comic is intact and presentable. I believe the yellow color on the front cover is somewhat faded compared to other copies I've seen. The back cover has a mild dust shadow along the top edge. There is a decent spine roll that may fix this comic a bit. There are a few spots of light soiling on both covers, as well as a few mild crease bends that don't appear to break the ink much...if at all.

VG, give or take; off-white to white pages.

The Scorpion #2 (Atlas/Seaboard). This comic features work by Howard Chaykin, Bernie Wrightson, Walt Simonson, and others.

This is an intact and presentable comic, but the scans speak for themselves. Aside from general wear in areas on the front cover, there is also a sizeable crease near the bottom right corner that very lightly breaks ink. The back cover shows some soiling. A clean and press will help, but the grade probably won't change much.

GD/VG, or better; cream to off-white pages.

I'm going to take a break from regular comics and start listing some Charlton, Dell, and Gold Key .12c golden age-size comics. None of these books are high grade, but they are pretty unique.

These comics are mostly in 'reader' condition, maybe slightly better. Just FYI...

UPDATE!!! I changed by mind on the condition of these comics. I'll go with 0.5 at a minimum, even though there may be one or two that might get an NG. Feel free to ask questions, or request more scans/photos.

Doctor Solar, Man of the Atom #15, George Wilson painted cover. This issue retells the origin of Doctor Solar.

The scans tell the story about this comic. The back cover scan doesn't entirely show the tears from the bottom left corner edges (left and bottom of corner). These tears are about 2 to 3 inches from meeting and separating from the page. There is also a decent spine roll.

FR, or better; off-white pages.

Fightin’ Air Force #39, featuring The 50th mission. This comic contains a ‘What If’ story set during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Again, the scans tell the story, however the back cover scan doesn't show the precise cuts through the cover and the last few pages. Notice the partially removed vendor price sticker (not my doing). Because of the cuts through the back, this comic is....

FREE, with any purchase.

The Frogmen #3. Frank Frazetta is credited with partial ink work on this issue.

This comic definitely has it's issues, but it is intact. The spine roll and/or misalignment makes the bottom staple look like it has detached from all pages. It hasn't, it's just rolled/misaligned. The bottom staple has, however, detached from the cover and there is a split in the spine at the bottom.

FR, or better; off-white pages.

The Frogmen #6. Don Segall is credited with the script for this issue.

Plenty of issues with this one, but it is complete and readable. The torn-off corner on the front cover does NOT translate on the back cover. That corner is folded over and I didn't want to mess with it.

FR, or better; off-white pages, with some light tanning on the bottom of some of the pages.
